What a week we have had - this is a bumper edition of the pod where we talk about all the news including our trip to training. Lis has a new job and a new bessie mate in the 4th estate. Whilst Claire had a very busy week doing stuff.

We talk about that fabulous match between Saints and Bath. And enjoy the two Daves on the sofa going full bore. We do name our Ladies Wot Pod Player of the Match and we have help with our choice of the Sgt Wilson Award winner.

And we sat down for a chat with Saints Head of Community, Ben Lawrence. He asked us some hard questions!

We review the rest of the Gallagher PREM games and remind Dave that Saints are still in the play off spots.

We do talk about Bedford’s trip to Rotherham which had a heartbreaking end.

And we again talk about the Top 14 which is frankly proving to be bonkers!

No news from Towcester and NSB - they will be back!

And we have loads to look forward to this week. Loughborough are off to Sandy Park, it’s Ladies Day at Bedford and Saints host Bath.

We do talk about the game against Black Lion where Lis welcomed the refereeing team whilst Haloing, we saw the return of the internationals and we watched an enjoyable if one-sided game. And we need a name for the covered area in the village!!

We think we are going to watch and talk about our front row’s hair and facial hair. It seems to be a big part of their success. And as we heard a load of Ooohs at Friday’s game, we may have an ongoing Oooometer this season.

We do award the LWP Player of the Match and there is an unusual Sgt Wilson award.

We do talk Bedford who endured a difficult trip to Worcester and we talk Lightning who battled hard but eventually lost in the north west. And we talk WXV news as the Red Roses battled against Canada.

And we again talk about the Top 14 which is frankly proving to be bonkers!

Meanwhile, we have U12’s news from Towcester and NSB - it’s been a busy week for Harry.

And we have loads to look forward to this week. More Bedford photography, Newcastle Red Bulls, Chinnor and the Red Roses playing the Black Ferns.

We start with training where Edo Todaro provided an interesting soundtrack to his rehab work whilst Kev B chased a parcel around the Gardens. Claire caught up with an old friend of the pod who Is listening to us!

We do pick out our Ladies Wot Pod player of the match and Sgt Wilson award - it’s great to be back in the swing of it.

We do talk Bedford and their news of a campaign to Save Our Scrum as the Scrum bar needs a new roof. Claire helped the team by taking photos of the new away shirt and supporting the campaign by doing some photography stuff.

We hear news from France where Claire’s credentials as any sort of pundit were trashed by this weekend’s results. And we hear news from the Champions Cup launch where things didn’t quite go to plan.

And we have Lightning news as they headed to Buckingham and on Saturday Rugby Fest 2.0 happened at the Gardens.

Meanwhile, we have U12’s news from Towcester and NSB. The International Man of Mystery was just too busy…

And we have loads to look forward to this week. Black Lion, Worcester and yet again Claire’s punditry is rubbish because Lightning are off up north to play Sale Sharks Women!

Of course this pod is all about the build up to the semi final against Tigers, the wonderful game of rugby that we witnessed on Friday night and all the fun we had at the game.

There are shout outs to lots of people, starting with our now regular feature of news from the high seas as one player’s Dad sails his yacht around Nova Scotia. Our dear friend Ben Rhodes did something very important before the game. Claire had a busy time with cameras whilst Lis was busy with yellow towels. We do name our LWP Player of the Match and there are two very worthy winners of the Sgt Wilson Award.

We do talk about the other matches in the Gallagher PREM and The PWR.

We do have a bit of a Media corner which is just as well given Lis is a regular on the airwaves.

Dave on the sofa gets a lecture - really Dave we are in the 21st century!
