We’re beginning a new sermon series through the book of Joshua, starting in Joshua 1:1–9. As Joshua steps into a new season after Moses’ death, God reminds him to be strong and courageous—and promises, “I am with you wherever you go.” In this message, we’re reminded that the same God who was with Joshua is with us in every transition and challenge. Step forward in faith, because God is with us.

In Acts 1, Jesus reminds His disciples that they will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes — and they will be His witnesses to the ends of the earth.

Disciples of Jesus don’t go in their own strength. We go with the power of the Spirit and the hope of the gospel.

This week’s message from Gospel of John 15:1–11 reminded us that Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. Apart from Him, we can do nothing — but when we abide in Him, we bear much fruit.

We hated missing everyone in person because disciples don’t grow in isolation. We grow in community. We grow when we stay connected — to Christ and to each other.

A disciple isn’t just someone who believes — it’s someone who follows. Someone who learns from Jesus, lives like Jesus, and leads others to Jesus.

That’s where discipleship begins — wholehearted love for God. And from that love, everything flows.
