Not only am I now qualified, I am now a Senior Lawyer! That's right, me too I am still trying to make sense of it all. Just know that hard work and persistence is trully the key to achieving your goals. At the beginning of 2020 I was no longer applying for pupillage, I was fed up of being rejected and began to question if I am even meant to be a Barrister. The Comprehensive Revision Notes for Civil Litigation, BPC 2020-2021 Syllabus were written by two law students. Having both decided to embark on a legal profession later in life they wanted to ensure they were prepared for their exams. Civil Litigation is one of the toughest module on the Bar. In 2021 the pass rate was just 55%.  Emma Fielding and Anneka Sinclair Jenns worked tirelessly to write this guide to assist other fellow students in preparing for the exam. They did this considering the needs of those with learning difficulties such as dyslexia.

Whilst his peers went to university to do freshers, Ronnie decided to head straight into the working world and work his way up. Having discovered the art of selling the 'Rocket Launcher 3000' he figured that selling houses would be more profitable. With 16 years of experience in the property industry, Ronnie has progressed and worked his way up. But also highlights the importance of BAME staff networks and how the support would have been  great value for his journey.

Emily and Kelsie give some insight into being a Legal Trainee as a Barrister and a Solicitor. They discuss the application process, legal work experience and share some tips on how to prepare.
