堀辰雄「美しい村」の朗読　第２部です。（1933年）。「美しい村」章の途中～終わりまでを収録しました。

小説の主題をもとめてさまよう主人公「私」が、様々な自然や花、風物、村人たちと交流する様子が引き続き描かれます。

ところで、作中に出てくる「アカシア」は、開花時期と花の色、ミツバチが寄り集まる様子からして本来のアカシアではなく、「ニセアカシア」のことと推測されます。

This is the second part of the reading of Tatsuo Hori's "Beautiful Village" (1933). This recording covers from the middle to the end of the chapter titled "Beautiful Village."

It continues to depict the protagonist, "I," who wanders in search of a theme for his novel, interacting with various aspects of nature, flowers, local scenery, and the villagers.

Regarding the "acacia" mentioned in the work: based on the blooming season, the color of the flowers, and the way honeybees gather around them, it is inferred that these are not true acacias, but rather "black locust" (Robinia pseudoacacia).

軽井沢のヴィラの立ち並ぶ静養地の風景が、一切の泥臭さを排した、まるで繊細な線画のように描かれ、すこしメルヘンチックですらあります。

私は70年代の萩尾望都の少女漫画のような世界観を想像しながら読んでしまいました。

​This work is based on the author’s experiences in Karuizawa, where he stayed to recuperate from pulmonary tuberculosis. ​Included here are "Overture" and the first half of "Beautiful Village."

​The scenery of Karuizawa’s villa-lined retreats is depicted like a delicate line drawing, stripped of all earthly coarseness, possessing a quality that is almost fairy-tale-like. While reading, I found myself imagining a world reminiscent of Moto Hagio’s 1970s shojo manga—a realm of ethereal beauty and quiet introspection.
