• New Moons: What They Invite, Why They Feel So Hopeful & How To Manifest With Them
    May 13 2026

The New Moon carries a very different energy than the Full Moon.

Where the Full Moon illuminates what has already grown, the New Moon invites us into the quiet beginning of the cycle… the moment where potential exists before there is visible proof of what is to come.

In this episode of Magic in Motion, we’re diving into the meaning and symbolism of the New Moon, how it fits into the larger lunar cycle, and why this phase has been connected to renewal, intention setting, and fresh starts across cultures and throughout history.

We’ll talk about the difference between the Dark Moon and the New Moon, the role lunar cycles played in ancient calendars and seasonal life, and how modern witchcraft and spiritual practices often work with this phase today. We also explore special lunations like eclipse New Moons, black moons, and super new moons, along with how the zodiac signs and elements shape the energy of each New Moon throughout the year. But more than anything, this episode is really about hope, returning to familiar ground with new perspective, and understanding that growth often begins beneath the surface long before anything breaks through into the light.

    Inside this episode:
    • A beginner-friendly overview of the lunar cycle
    • The energetic difference between the Dark Moon and the New Moon
    • Historical and cultural connections to lunar observance
    • Solar eclipses, black moons, and super new moons
    • New Moon energy through the zodiac signs and elements
    • Everyday New Moon practices for intention setting and reflection
    • Tarot, shadow work, gratitude, crystals, and manifestation
    • The role of trust, release, and co-creation in New Moon work

We also talk about one of the hardest and most important parts of manifestation… releasing the intention after it’s planted and allowing life, the Universe, or your higher power to meet you halfway.

Whether you actively work with lunar cycles or simply feel drawn to the quiet optimism of a New Moon night, this episode is an invitation to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what feels ready to begin again in your life.

  • Cord & Knot Magic: Weaving with Intention
    May 5 2026

Most people think of knot magic as something symbolic… or maybe something decorative.

But in practice, it’s one of the most direct and tangible ways to work with intention.

In this episode of Magic in Motion, we’re exploring cord and knot magic: what it is, where it comes from, and how it’s been used across cultures as a way to focus energy, direct attention, and build something that holds.

From traditional witch’s ladders and protective cords to devotional ties and woven pieces that carried meaning far beyond how they looked, knot magic has long been used as a way to anchor intention into something physical. Not just something you think about, but something you actively create.

We get into the structure behind the practice, including how different materials, knot counts, and repetition play a role, and why the act of tying, looping, and weaving matters just as much as the intention itself, because this isn’t about tying something off and hoping it works. It’s about choosing what you’re working with, deciding where your attention is going, and reinforcing that choice through steady, repeated action.

This episode also brings the practice into a modern, everyday context. Not as something you need to set aside time for or perform in a formal way, but as something that can be woven into your day. Something that builds gradually. Something that reflects what you’re already doing, but with more awareness behind it because this kind of work isn’t about doing more it’s about directing what’s already in motion.

If you’ve been looking for a practice that feels grounded, intentional, and connected to both tradition and real life, this is a powerful place to start.

  • The Shift: Beltane and the Magic of a Season in Bloom
    Apr 27 2026

Fertility isn’t just about what we plant… it’s about how we nourish the soil it’s planted in.

✨ Episode — Beltane is here!

In this episode of Magic in Motion, we’re stepping into Beltane, the fire festival that marks the full arrival of the growing season. This is the point in the year where growth becomes visible, where the energy shifts from intention into expansion, and where what you’ve been tending begins to take shape.

We’ll walk through the origins of Beltane and how it was traditionally celebrated across Ireland, Scotland, and other Celtic regions. From bonfires and livestock rituals to Maypoles, offerings, and the symbolism woven into every part of the day, this is a look at how people worked with the season when growth wasn’t just symbolic… it was survival.

We also take a closer look at how Beltane and May Day overlap, where they come from, what they share, and why they’re not exactly the same thing, even though they’re often used interchangeably today.

Then we bring it into real life.

What does Beltane look like now, without a hillside bonfire or a full village celebration? How do you work with the energy of a fire festival in a way that fits into your actual day?

We’ll cover modern traditions, simple ways to celebrate, and how to recognize what’s already beginning to take shape in your own life. Because Beltane isn’t just about planting something new… it’s about noticing what’s already growing.

If you’ve been doing the work quietly over the past few weeks, this is the moment where you start to see it.

If you’ve ever wondered what Beltane really is, how it connects to May Day, or how to work with themes of fertility, growth, and seasonal magic in a way that feels grounded and doable… this episode is for you.

Listen now and step into the shift of a season in bloom.

  • Walpurgisnacht: Protection, Fire, and the Witches’ Night
    Apr 21 2026

Most people think of spring as the time to start fresh, set intentions, and call new things in… but historically, there was a night set aside for something else entirely.

Walpurgisnacht, observed on April 30th into May 1st, has been marked across parts of Europe for over a thousand years. Long before it became associated with festivals and costumes, it was a night rooted in protection. Communities lit fires, made as much noise as possible, and stayed close to home, all with the intention of keeping unwanted forces away during a seasonal transition that felt uncertain and, at times, vulnerable.

In this episode, we walk through the origins of Walpurgisnacht, from early Germanic and Scandinavian traditions to the influence of Saint Walpurga, whose feast day was set on May 1st and became layered into an already significant time of year. We’ll look at how this night evolved, why it became known as the “Witches’ Night,” and how different regions still celebrate it today, from bonfires in Germany to spring festivals in Sweden and Finland.

We’ll also break down the traditions tied to this observance, including the use of fire for protection, the role of noise in driving away unwanted energy, and the symbolism behind costumes, plants like rowan and hawthorn, and seasonal foods like May punch. Along the way, we touch on the folklore of witches gathering on the Brocken, the phenomenon known as the Brocken Spectre, and the ways belief and environment often shaped each other.

This isn’t a night about calling things in. It’s about deciding what doesn’t come forward with you. We’ll also briefly explore how Walpurgisnacht sits right on the edge of Beltane, sharing the same threshold while moving in a very different direction. Where one focuses on clearing and protection, the other turns toward growth and expansion.

If you’re looking for a grounded way to connect with this energy in a modern context, we’ll cover a few simple ways to work with the night, from setting boundaries to clearing space, without overcomplicating the process.

  • Spelling Out Spells: What Spellwork Really Is, From Intention to Form
    Apr 13 2026

Most people think spellwork has to be complicated. Specific tools, perfect timing, elaborate rituals, something you have to learn before you can even begin.

But what if that’s not actually true?

In this episode of Magic in Motion, we’re spelling it out. What a spell really is, how spell work actually works, and why you may already be doing it without even realizing it.

We start with the shift that changes everything. The moment where spellwork stops feeling like something outside of you, and starts to feel like something you’ve always been part of. From wishing on a star to saying a quiet prayer, from thinking about someone right before they call to setting the tone for your day, intention has always been there. The difference is learning how to support it.

From there, we break spellwork down into four parts: intent, act, belief, and that intention being realized into form. No gatekeeping, no overcomplication, just a clear look at how spells actually move from thought into reality.

We also walk through the most common types of spells and spellwork practices, including candle magic, jar spells, charm bags, oil and anointing rituals, kitchen magic, meditative and visualization practices, petitions and sigils, and water-based work like baths and infusions. You’ll hear real examples of what these look like in practice, how to work with them, and how to make them your own without feeling like you need to do everything at once.

Along the way, we talk about the role of tools like herbs, crystals, oils, and candles. Not as requirements, but as ways to amplify and support your intention. Whether you’re drawn to something because of its properties, its symbolism, or simply because it resonates with you, clarity and connection are what matter most.

We also get into one of the most important and often overlooked parts of spellwork: belief. Trusting the process, co-creating with your higher self or a higher power, and allowing space for what you’re calling in to take shape, even if it looks different than you expected.

And finally, we talk about what it means for a spell to be realized into form, how to recognize it when it happens, and why gratitude is an essential part of the process.

Whether you’re new to witchcraft, exploring beginner spellwork, or looking to bring more intention into your everyday life, this episode will help you understand spells in a way that actually fits into real life.

Just know, however you spell your spell is entirely up to you. You choose what you plug into each part of it: What you intend; The design of your act; How you hold the belief while it’s taking shape; and how you give thanks when it arrives.

  • Tarot for Everyday Life, Not Just the Big Moments
    Apr 8 2026

Most people reach for Tarot when something feels big, a decision, a shift, a moment where you’re trying to figure out what comes next.

But what if that’s not where it’s most useful?

In this episode of Magic in Motion, we’re stepping into a different way of working with Tarot, one that moves it out of the “only when I need answers” category and into something that can support you in your everyday life.

We’ll talk about where Tarot came from, how it evolved from a game into a tool for insight, and what makes it different from other forms of divination.

Then, we’ll walk through the structure behind Tarot, from the story told through the Major Arcana to the everyday, real-life moments reflected in the Minor Arcana, and how spreads turn a question into something you can answer from every angle.

Most importantly, we’ll talk about how Tarot actually works in practice, as a way to pause, ask better questions, and access insight that isn’t always available when you’re just thinking your way through something.

You’ll hear three simple ways to start working with tarot in a way that feels natural and sustainable:

    • A daily one-card pull to start your morning with awareness

    • A simple evening reflection to build understanding and pattern recognition

    • A weekly spread that helps you move through your life with intention, not just reaction

Whether you’re new to Tarot or you’ve been reading for years, this episode is about making it usable, and accessible in your every day life.

  • Full Moons: What They Reveal, Why You Feel Them & How To Work With Them
    Mar 30 2026

In this episode of Magic in Motion, we’re diving into the full moon, what it is, why it affects us, and how it has been observed, honored, and worked with across cultures for centuries.

We’ll explore how ancient civilizations, from Egyptian timekeeping to Celtic and Nordic traditions, understood the moon as more than something to look at, but something to live by. You’ll also hear how the familiar North American full moon names, like the Wolf Moon, Snow Moon, and Strawberry Moon, tie directly to seasonal rhythms, and how rare events like Blue Moons and Blood Moons bring their own unique energy into the cycle.

From there, we layer in astrology and break down how the phase of the moon and the zodiac sign it’s in work together, giving you a simple, practical way to understand what each full moon is highlighting in your life.

We also take a grounded look at modern observations, why so many people report changes in sleep, energy, and emotion during the full moon, and what science does (and doesn’t) say about it.

Then we bring it into real life. You’ll learn simple, approachable ways to work with the full moon without overcomplicating it, creating moon water, charging objects with intention, and using gratitude as a powerful reflection practice rooted in traditions that go back generations.

And finally, we close with a quiet moment to reconnect, not just with the moon above you, but with your own path beneath it, and all the full moons that have brought you to where you are today.

Whether you’re deeply spiritual or just curious, this episode will help you understand the full moon in a way that feels grounded, accessible, and real.

  • Breaking Down Spell Jars: Building With Intention, Not a Recipe
    Mar 26 2026

Spell jars aren’t about shoving a bunch of stuff in a bottle, dripping some pretty wax and hoping for the best…

In this episode, we’re talking about what actually matters: intention, structure, and how to build something that works.

If you’ve ever felt unsure about what to include, how much is too much, or whether you’re “doing it right,” this conversation is here to bring some clarity back to the process.

We’ll explore where spell jars come from, including the history of protective witch bottles, and how that original purpose still influences the way they’re used today. From there, we move into the modern approach, using jars as intentional, layered tools to support what you’re calling in, shifting, or strengthening in your life.

Rather than focusing on rules or rigid formulas, this episode walks through a clear, flexible framework you can actually use.

    We’ll cover:
    • the difference between containment and attraction work
    • the most common “rules” you’ll see online, and what they’re really about
    • how to build a spell jar layer by layer with purpose
    • what each component contributes, from foundation to sealing
    • how placement changes the way your jar interacts with your life

This isn’t about getting it perfect. It’s about understanding what you’re creating… and why, because at the end of the day, spell jars aren’t recipes to follow, they’re intentional tools you build. And when you shift from guessing what to add, to building with purpose and intention, you create something that actually works.
