• Lent Week 3: How the Bible Predicted Jesus
    Mar 2 2026

Is it possible that the story of Jesus was hidden in plain sight hundreds of years before He was even born?

In Week 3 of our Lent series, we’re shifting away from the history of the Exodus and diving into the "Roadmap" God left behind in the Old Testament. From the raw cries of Psalm 22 to the specific promises in Isaiah and Micah, we're looking at how the Bible told us about Jesus long before He ever arrived in Bethlehem.

If you’ve ever wondered if God has a plan for the mess or if His promises still hold up when life gets quiet, this week's readings are for you. None of this was an accident—and neither are you.

    This Week’s Reading Roadmap:

    • Monday: Psalm 22:1–5

    • Tuesday: Psalm 23

    • Wednesday: Psalm 118:19–29

    • Thursday: Isaiah 7:14

    • Friday: Isaiah 9:2, 6–7

    • Saturday: Micah 5:2

    • Sunday: Isaiah 53:3–6

  • True Confessions: I Shoplifted (By Accident)
    Feb 28 2026

Thursday was supposed to be the "get-my-life-together" day. Instead, it became a lesson in conviction, a trip back to the scene of the crime, and a screw in a tire. Explore why being "trusted with very little" is the secret to a clear conscience and a closer walk with God.

    In this episode, Joni discusses:

    • The "Tell-Tale Heart" moment with a bottle of curl cream.

    • Why fixing things "online" isn't always an option for the soul.

    • Luke 16:10: Integrity in the small, ordinary moments.

    • The irony of "no good deed goes unpunished" (and how to handle it).
