    When we want things and can't figure out how to make them happen, we often think, "Why can't I do this? There's something wrong with me."

    In this episode, I show the power of the question, “What if I’m not the problem?” through a client’s story that reveals how quickly we turn challenges into self-blame rather than curiosity.

    I look at how our cultural programming and personal experiences often lead us to see systems issues as character judgments, which makes it harder to find solutions. By shifting from shame to curiosity, by asking, "What if I'm not the problem?" we open up more effective, more compassionate paths to change. This episode is about self-compassion, perspective shifts, and reclaiming agency without turning yourself (or anyone else) into the problem.

I call this "switch thinking" -- on or off. In this episode, I suggest "dial thinking" for meaningful, long-lasting change. I share how incremental change actually calms the brain, builds momentum, and makes it easier to keep going after inevitable setbacks -- whether we want to eat more protein or feel a greater sense of calm every day. This episode is a roadmap to inviting change that is more doable, kinder, and more likely to succeed in the long run.
