Building a life with intention requires more than good ideas or strong desires. Jesus made it clear in Luke 14 that finishing matters far more than starting, and that wisdom begins with counting the cost before you build. The story of Joseph in Genesis 41 brings this to life, showing what it looks like to receive a vision from God and immediately develop a practical, outcome-based plan to act on it. A biblical plan is not about getting God to bless what you want. It is about aligning your life with what He has already purposed. Two foundational components of that kind of plan are envisioning what you are building and why, and then carefully counting what it will actually take to get there. Anything worth building will require sacrifice and consistency before it gives anything back. Those who hold on through the slow and steady seasons are the ones who see God's plan come to pass.
