This week on Not Another Football Podcast, we’re joined by Mark Sharp, frontman of Mark Sharp & the Bicycle Thieves.Mark sits down with Jackie McNamara and Simon Donnelly to talk about his love of music, the journey of the band and the experiences that have shaped his career so far.He looks back on some of the biggest moments along the way, including supporting Lewis Capaldi and what it was like sharing the stage with one of Scotland’s biggest artists. But before music took over, football was a huge part of Mark’s life. He talks about his time playing in Falkirk’s youth setup, his experiences as a young footballer and the path that eventually took him away from the pitch and towards music. The conversation brings together two of Mark’s biggest passions, as he shares stories about football, performing, life on the road and building a career in music.Another brilliant conversation about chasing your ambitions, whether it’s on the pitch or on the stage.
