  • The BIG rReset: How rRest Therapy help me restart with Danielle Y
    Feb 29 2024

Through a mutual friend and in the midst of COVID, I connected with Danielle. Through her, rRest proved to be a hypnotic method that allowed me to regulate a troubled nervous system.

Danielle Yuhasz is the founder of Rise and Glow Coaching LLC and a certified Intuitive Healing Coach in the rREST® Technique. She helps clients process unprocessed emotions associated with PTSD and past trauma, using the brain’s natural ability for neuroplasticity to create new emotional patterns. Through transformational life coaching, she guides clients in identifying deeply held emotional responses, releasing outdated stress patterns, and recalibrating their nervous system. Her approach blends intuitive guidance, neuroscience-informed techniques, and the rREST® methodology to help clients feel grounded, empowered, and aligned with their authentic selves.

  • Cat and Josh: PTSD and Kink
    Feb 15 2024

In this episode, we sit down with Cat Orme and Joshua Rodriguez (Master Joshua), co-founders of The Kink Collective in East Harlem, NYC. With decades of combined experience in kink, education, and counseling, they explore how kink intersects with PTSD, alcoholism, sexuality, emotional healing, and energy exchange. Their philosophy — “People Before Kink” — emphasizes trust, consent, communication, and personal reflection as the foundation for meaningful play and conscious power dynamics.

After recording, I had the pleasure of spending a weekend in their East Harlem studio, where their leadership and commitment to safety were unmistakable. Cat brings therapeutic insight and a grounding presence, while Joshua’s intentional Dominant leadership creates a space where kink becomes a tool for self-discovery, healing, and deep community connection.

You can learn more about their work at kinkcollective.net, and follow them on Instagram @kink_collective.
