  • Why Healing Feels So Hard for Oldest Daughters.
    Jan 22 2026

    Send us a text

Being the oldest daughter often means becoming the strong one, the fixer, the emotional support system before you ever had the chance to just be a child. In this episode, we talk about the invisible burden oldest daughters carry and why healing, setting boundaries, and choosing yourself can feel so uncomfortable — and so full of guilt.

    We explore:
-Why guilt shows up when you start prioritizing yourself
-How being “the responsible one” becomes an identity
-Why healing can feel like selfishness (even when it’s not)
-And how to love your family without abandoning yourself

If you’ve ever felt like it was your job to hold everything together… this episode is for you. You’re not broken for feeling guilty — you were conditioned to carry more than your share.

✨ If this episode resonates, don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share it with an oldest daughter who needs this reminder.

    Jan 15 2026

    Send us a text

  • Why Mexico Feels Like Grief and Healing at the Same Time.
    Jan 8 2026

    Send us a text

Going back to Mexico hits different when you’re first-gen.

In this episode, my sister Viviann and I talk about why Mexico can feel like grief and healing at the same time — why our bodies soften there, why our hearts ache, and why being in a place that feels like home can also remind you of everything you didn’t get to have.

    We talk about:
    • missing a life you never fully lived
    • the quiet grief of being in between cultures
    • why Mexico feels regulating to the nervous system
    • and how healing doesn’t always feel “light” — sometimes it feels like remembering

If you’ve ever gone back and felt comfort, sadness, belonging, and loss all at once… this episode is for you.

You’re not broken. You’re grieving something sacred.

  • Las Frases Que Nos Enseñaron a No Sentir ( Episodio en Español)
    Dec 25 2025

    Send us a text

  • This Year Changed Us...and We’ll Never Be the Same.
    Dec 18 2025

    Send us a text

    We didn’t wake up healed.
    We woke up different.

In this end-of-year reflection, we look back and realize something unexpected — healing didn’t just change our mindset… it changed our nervous systems, our boundaries, and the choices we were finally brave enough to make.

Including one of the biggest ones: Vieney quitting her job indefinitely in the middle of the year.

Not because everything was figured out..but because survival mode no longer felt like an option.

In this episode, we talk about:
    • the moment survival mode finally shut off
    • how being present felt unfamiliar at first
    • why soft life isn’t lazy — it’s regulated
    • what stopped us from people-pleasing without guilt
    • how boundaries became protection, not punishment
    • why healing sometimes leads to uncomfortable but necessary leaps
This episode is for anyone who feels calmer, clearer, and slightly untethered this year — wondering if they’re losing stability or finally choosing themselves.

    You’re not behind.
    You’re becoming.

  • AuDHD & Homeschooling: We Need To Talk About This.
    Dec 11 2025

    Send us a text

Growing up first-gen, we were raised to “fit in,” follow rules, and not question systems — especially school. But what happens when your child doesn’t fit inside the boxes those systems were built on?

In this episode, Viviann opens up about discovering AuDHD — what it is, what it feels like from the inside, and why so many kids in our community go unseen, mislabeled, or misunderstood. She shares the quiet heartbreak of watching a child struggle in environments that were never designed for neurodivergent minds… and the healing that began when she chose to honor her son’s needs instead of the expectations of others.

Homeschooling wasn’t the plan — it was the answer.
A choice rooted in protection, love, and freedom.
A decision that broke generational patterns of pressure, comparison, and “qué va decir la gente.”

This episode is for every parent who feels like they’re failing, every child who was called “too much” or “too sensitive,” and every first-gen family learning to trust their own intuition over outside opinions.
We hope it gives you permission to do what works for YOUR child — even if nobody else understands it yet. 🤍

  • You Don’t Lose People. You Lose Attachments.
    Dec 4 2025

    Send us a text

Sometimes the hardest part of healing isn’t the pain — it’s the letting go. In this episode, we talk about how the people who drift, disappear, distance themselves, or suddenly fall away… weren’t losses. They were releases.
    We don’t actually lose people.

We lose the attachment to what they represented:
    • the comfort of the familiar
    • the version of ourselves we used to be
    • the approval we used to crave
    • the role we played for them
    • the validation we thought we needed

When you heal, your energy shifts… and the relationships that can’t grow with you naturally fade away. That isn’t rejection — it’s alignment.

    If you’ve ever wondered:
    “Why did they leave?”
    “Did I do something wrong?”
    “Why do I feel abandoned?”

This episode will help you understand that their exit wasn’t a reflection of your worth — it was a reflection of your evolution.

✨ Listen now and take back your power.
    You’re not losing people — you’re finding yourself 🤎
