• The Value of Calluses
    Apr 29 2026

Calluses can become useful tools. They can harden our fingertips to make playing a guitar easier or they could harden our hands to prevent them from being damaged by tools. At the same time, some calluses can get in our way or make things more unpleasant. While our actual physical calluses are obvious to us, we also develop spiritual types of calluses that we receive from life. Today on the podcast Pastor Robby sits down with Pastor Jason Mecum as they discuss the calluses that we earn and those that are simply given to us from circumstance and how God is able to use them both for his glory. We also discuss his sermon about Samson from Sunday.

Maybe believing in one doesn't have to mean abandoning the other. Pastor James and Pastor Robby explore the intersection of faith and science to try and understand how the two relate to each other.
