  • The Best of Our Father Jokes: Christmas Edition
    Dec 31 2025

Need a little Christmas cheer (and a few groans)? This episode is a special edition of Our Father jokes, bringing together more of our favorite holiday-themed jokes from Not Yet Christian. These are the jokes that made us laugh, cringe, pause awkwardly, and laugh anyway. In the middle of a season that can feel busy, emotional, or heavy, this montage is a reminder that joy still matters. Laughter is a gift God gave us to connect, breathe, and not take ourselves quite so seriously. Faith doesn't have to be stiff, and Christmas doesn't have to be perfect. So grab a cup of coffee, brace yourself for the punchlines, and enjoy a few minutes of lighthearted fun as we head through the holidays together.

  • Jesus Can Grow Your Heart Three Sizes Too!
    Dec 24 2025

In this holiday episode Jen uses one of her favorite Christmas characters (The Grinch) to talk about grace, healing, and Christ's love in the places we feel wounded, bitter, or closed off. Like the Grinch, many of us have had seasons where we couldn't feel the joy of Christmas at all. We were carrying hurt, walls built from pain, and a belief that we didn't deserve love or community. But the Grinch story isn't about evil… it's a redemption story. A little girl's love doesn't shame him or force him to change... It shows him that he's worth loving, and that's exactly what Jesus does for us. Christ doesn't wait for us to "get it together" before He wraps His arms around us. He walks up that mountain, meets us in our loneliness, our anxiety, and our resentment, and says, "you're loved." Whether you're struggling this season, feeling like you don't belong, or just overwhelmed by the holiday noise, Christ's grace can break through.

Are you going through your Grinch season? Let us know in the comments. We want to pray with you, encourage you, and remind you that grace meets us right where we are. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more honest, heart-centered conversations on Not Yet Christian.

  • Cast It and Let It Go | 1 Peter 5:7 Explained
    Dec 17 2025

In this Not Yet Christian Daily Bible Verse episode, Jen breaks down one of the most comforting and practical verses in the Bible — 1 Peter 5:7: "Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you." This isn't a soft toss, it's a full release. "Cast" literally means to throw it as hard and as far as you can... To get it off your shoulders and give it fully to God. When life feels like too much (the stress, the anxiety, the constant pressure to fix everything) this verse reminds us that we were never meant to carry those burdens alone. God didn't create fear, anxiety, or panic. That's the enemy. But He did create peace, and that peace starts with trust. When you humble yourself before Him and say, "God, I can't do this," that's when He says, "Good — because I can." This episode is your reminder to stop trying to hold it all together and start letting go. Cast your worries to the One who can actually handle them — because He cares deeply for you.

What are you casting this week? Drop it in the comments. Your honesty might be exactly what someone else needs to hear today. We're all carrying something, but God never asked us to carry it alone. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more real-talk faith every week on Not Yet Christian.
