It's a beautiful weekend of college football ahead. Huge games all over the country, but none are bigger than the one that kicks off in the Cotton Bowl at 2:30 Saturday. When is the last timer the Sooners won this game as an underdog? Are they capable of doing so? Brent Venables was not happy with his offensive line group and we can only imagine the conversations that go on inside that building when the film is on. What's realistic and unrealistic for this team? For Carey's sake, give Elijah Thomas the ball! The first availability report comes out Wednesday night, who knows what that will look like. Are mind games in-store? Despite the early season disappointment, Sooner fans will show out, and although they will stick with the Sooners no matter what happens, what about the 2027 recruiting class? U40: John Mateer is your starter for Texas, is this his final chance to shine?
    Oct 1 2026
The bye week is here! A much needed reset for everyone after the Sooners 41-13 loss against Georgia. Brent Venables spoke with the media last night, and he is not giving up on John Mateer as the QB1 just yet. Also, he did keep George safe from the lightning. Will John Mateer make it through 4 quarters against Texas? How much is the offensive line to blame for all the issues? Josh's weekends plans were put to a halt due to a presidential matter. Eddie is not having a good day and the Cubs are to blame.
