The College Baseball Show crew (Mark, Josh, Jared, and Will) is back with another preseason all-era draft, this time covering the Big Ten from 2010 to today. With a snake draft, a full lineup to fill (catcher, all four infield spots, three outfielders, a utility player, and five pitchers), and a five-player limit per school, the guys debate the conference’s best of the modern era. Highlights include the race for Roch Cholowsky and Matt Shaw at the top, Kyle Schwarber and Alex Dickerson representing Indiana, an all-Maryland infield, a run on recent UCLA, Oregon, and Nebraska stars, a challenge flag, and plenty of deliberation over picks. They also argue that the Big Ten is at its peak right now, name the biggest snubs, and preview the upcoming mid-major draft. Brought to you by Just Baseball Media.

On this episode of On the Clock by Just Baseball Media, Jared, Josh and Peyton sit down with Troy catcher Jimmy Janicki, who ranks No. 6 on our 2027 college board. Jimmy talks about his path from the Chicago suburbs to Troy, the no-stride swing change that helped him jump from two home runs as a freshman to 21 this past season, and what it was like to host and win a Super Regional before playing in front of 26,000 fans in Omaha. He explains why he passed on the transfer portal to stay at Troy for his draft year, how he views catching versus third base at the next level, and which big leaguers he studies behind the plate. He also tells us which MLB arm he'd most want to face, the best pitcher he's seen so far, his favorite food spots in Troy, and his surprisingly strong pickleball game.

  • Top 50 2027 MLB Draft College Board Released! | On The Clock
    Oct 5 2026

On this episode of On the Clock, Tyler Jennings, Josh Catlett and Peyton Sower break down the first college board of the 2027 MLB Draft cycle, our Top 50 college prospects. We go through the board ten picks at a time and cover why Mississippi State's rotation might be the best in the country, whether Dax Whitney can still go 1-1 coming off Tommy John, and the case for Gavin Kelly as a one-of-a-kind draft prospect. We also get into Ethan Lund's sky-high ceiling, Nate Savoie's batted-ball numbers next to Tague Davis's, why Teg isn't higher on the board, and our favorite under-the-radar names like Derek Pitts, Mason McCraine and Boston Kellner. We close with a few players who could crash the board this spring and what's ahead with the prep board, WWBA Jupiter and fall ball coverage.
