    Oct 21 2026
Executive Director Gisèle Hébert and Occupational Therapist Katie Ward from One Kids Place join the conversation to explain how the organization supports children, youth, and families across Northern Ontario.

They break down the wide range of services available, including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech-language pathology, recreation therapy, social work, autism services, and specialized clinics. The conversation also explores how One Kids Place brings different professionals together under one roof to create more coordinated, family-centred care.

Gisele and Katie also discuss the challenges families can face when accessing services, from waitlists and staffing shortages to navigating autism funding, and how programs like the SmartStart Hub are helping connect families with support sooner. They also highlight the importance of community partnerships, donated equipment, and meeting each child and family where they are.
