Outward Bound is the Gold Standard of outdoor learning, and getting the opportunity to speak with Dr. Wallis was a bit of a dream come true for me. The history, mission and model of Outward Bound is totally aligned with my own personal philosophies, and if you even have the slightest interest in making an impact on the way our society helps young people become well adjusted, appreciative and connected members, you'll see why Outward Bound has built the reputation it has. If you'd like to know more about Outward Bound, there are several links below that will take you to the various worldwide chapters of the organization. They are always looking for funding, so if you are in a position to donate to their programming, it will go a long way.
