In an extraordinary letter, it seems King Charles has finally given Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a taste of their own medicine, that's according to the Daily Mail's Royal Editor Rebecca English. The monarch emphasised that the Sussexes should be treated as 'private citizens' upon their return to the UK and not as working members of the Royal Family. Rebecca breaks down what the letter meant and the exact phrase that the Sussexes took offence to. She also explains why the King's words may have led to a shock dropout from the Invictus Games. Earlier in the week, we saw Prince George arrive for his first day at Eton College. Of course, Rebecca was there and she couldn't help but notice the stark differences between George's first day at the prestigious boarding school versus William's experience. PLUS which special guest did the Prince of Wales bring out during his visit to Liverpool? AND we break down the long list of international royals who were in attendance at King Harald of Norway's funeral - and the reason why William was nowhere near the front of the procession. President Donald Trump has shared his damning verdict on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's UK return - but do our experts agree?Richard Kay, the Daily Mail's Senior Editor-at-Large, speculates that the Sussexes fled from America rather than leaving of their own volition. This seems to be backed up by the accounts of their Montecito neighbours. He also argues that William should reconcile with his brother Harry for the sake of the monarchy but his colleague Richard Eden could not disagree more. Meanwhile Charlotte Griffiths, the Mail on Sunday's Editor-at-Large, reveals why Prince Harry is 'spitting blood' at certain members of the Royal Family and STILL expects an apology from them.PLUS Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor faces fresh accusations of sex crimes in the US while Sarah Ferguson is said to have 'joined forces' with Meghan Markle.AND we bid farewell to a royal fan favourite. All this and more on another unmissable episode of Palace Confidential.SIGN UP to our FREE Palace Confidential Newsletter: https://bit.ly/palacenewsletter2READ MORE: 'He expects an apology.
