Jay Gridley: I grew up clairsentience living in a very rural area of the Finger Lakes located in NY State. As I grew older and realized through school experiences that I wasn't like everyone else I tended to suppress my abilities and did my best to forget that I ever even had them, just so I could fit in more at school. And, unfortunately it worked. Fast forward to 2000, I moved to Rochester NY to attend college. While in Rochester I would read this weekly print that was called "Freetime Magazine" that promote events happening and what bands were playing and where. And, they also had classifieds in the back as well. Well, in one of those classifieds I saw one looking for a paranormal investigator. I wasn't really familiar with the term as this was before all the TV shows came out, but I knew that I needed to respond. So, I did and ended up joining this group and was surprised that there was more like minded people like me out there. After 6 months in the group I moved up to lead investigator and started to clash with the founder over differences in ideas going forward. So, I ended up leaving that group and started my own. I've had 4 groups over the years and they all focused on different variations of paranormal investigating that tended to follow along with how I was evolving and maturing as an investigator. My final group, NY Paranormal, is the one that I am definitely most proud of. This group is comprised of the most talented and like minded people from my 4 previous groups. So, I was able to bring the best from each group to create NY Paranormal. We investigate many haunted locations around NY State and have performed dozens of private home investigations helping out many families to find out what they weren't able to explain. And, we also specialize in public investigations where we bring in the public to investigate with us and raise money through ticket sales for the locations that we are working with. And, as of right now I am talking with a new location about starting a public investigation program in their location. In the meantime, the group and I still go out often to investigate some new and some of our favorite haunted locations.Larry Langdon: My first investigation was a home featured on Ghost Hunters. I was a tour guide at Historic Palmyra Museum for 8 years. Investigated such places as Waverly Hills and Bobby Mackey's. My favorite piece of equipment is my digital recorder but close behind is my night vision video cams. I'm the paranormal coordinator for an extremely haunted location in western New York where I live. Have had tables at Paracons.
