  • Pit to Palace - Kent Thompson | 09 Feb. 2026
    Feb 9 2026

Kent then invites us to confront identity at a deeper level. Many of us live with a “poverty mindset” — shaped by shame, insecurity, scarcity, or past labels — rather than stepping into who God says we are. Through the story of Joseph, we see that faithfulness in every season qualifies us for more. Whether Joseph was in the pit, the prison, or the palace, he stayed faithful, used what God had given him, and carried God’s presence — and God caused everything he touched to prosper.---[learn more about peak vision]If you have joined us for the first time or you'd like to send our Pastors a message, you can say hi and share with them here: https://www.peakvisionchurch.co.nz/welcomeLearn more about Peak Vision:https://www.peakvisionchurch.co.nz/explore

  • Why is it so hard to share the Gospel? - Daniel Pearce | 01 Feb. 2026
    Feb 1 2026

To watch our full gathering with included worship and music, you can watch that here: https://youtube.com/live/3zu-5oTATJw

In this gathering, we learn from Daniel that being Kingdom builders means actually knowing our King and being willing to talk about Him. We’re reminded that sharing the gospel isn’t meant to be complicated, but it does require courage, intentionality, and a heart that’s alive to God.

Many of us genuinely believe in Jesus, yet still struggle to speak about Him in everyday moments — often because we’re busy, distracted, or worried about what others might think.

We’re challenged to recognise that the church isn’t a building or a leadership team — we are the church. Sharing the gospel isn’t someone else’s job; it’s ours. Daniel calls us to live generously with our time, our attention, and what God has entrusted to us, slowing down enough to truly see and care for people.

We’re also confronted with some honest reasons why sharing our faith feels hard:

    - We can be spiritually malnourished.

    - Very concerned with people’s opinions.

    - Unsure of what we truly believe (or disconnected from the power of the Holy Spirit).

The call is clear — personal revival comes from spending time in God’s presence, allowing Him to soften our hearts, and make room for the Holy Spirit, boldness grows naturally.

Ultimately, we’re reminded that we carry the hope of the world. Jesus is the death-cure, and we’re called to reflect His glory not only through our words, but through the way we live, love, and treat others. The invitation is to repent where we’ve grown passive, be filled again with faith and courage, and walk out ready to share the gospel — in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand, and beyond.

  • Early Church Vs. The 21st Century Church - Sarah Pearce | 25 Jan. 2026
    Jan 26 2026

In this gathering, we’re challenged to move beyond just showing up to church and actually take stock of where we’re heading. Sarah invites us to lift our eyes, reflect honestly, and resist complacency, remembering that direction matters, and change doesn’t happen by accident.

By looking back to the early church, we’re reminded of what’s possible when God’s people are awake, committed, and willing to return to their first love.

Together, we’re called to remember, repent, and step into the kind of faith that brings real transformation to our lives and our region.
