• Trusting God in the Unknown: How Obedience and Faith Open Doors You Didn’t Expect
    Jan 13 2026

Have you ever felt like your “yes” wasn’t enough? Or doubted whether you were truly ready for what God was asking of you? In this episode, I sit down with my friend Tara to talk about the quiet courage it takes to step out in faith, even when everything feels shaky.

Tara shares her powerful story of recovery after a life-altering car accident and the way God used that season to strip away distractions and prepare her heart for ministry. We talk about trusting God when the outcome is unclear, spiritual warfare in everyday life, and what it really means to surrender our need for control.

    We explore:

    • How to trust God’s timing even when it feels terrifying

    • The difference between preparation and readiness

    • What Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 12:9 (“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness”) meant in Tara’s real-life moments of fear and obedience

    • Why community, prayer, and discernment are essential when stepping into the unknown

    • How to see God’s hand in the stretch and the struggle

Tara’s journey is such a beautiful reminder that God isn’t asking for perfection. He’s asking for a willing heart.

And friend, if you’ve been sensing a shift in your perspective, maybe through a hard season, a healing process, or even just the everyday moments of life, I would love to hear your story. You don’t need a platform, a following, or a ministry. Just a heart that’s open to sharing what God is doing. • Every Story Matters: Looking Back, Listening In, and Stepping Forward in Faith
    Jan 6 2026

    Welcome to Season 2!
I’m kicking things off with a solo episode to reflect on what God has already done and what He might be inviting us into next. This isn’t just a recap. It’s a pause to notice the stories, the voices, and the grace that’s been woven through each conversation we’ve shared so far.

This past season, we’ve talked about hearing God’s voice, trusting Him through grief and change, choosing obedience even when the next step feels unclear, and learning to rest without guilt. These aren’t just stories. They’ve been invitations to look at our own lives with fresh eyes.

In this episode, I’ll walk you through some questions I’ve been asking myself and now I’m asking you too:

    • What has God been teaching you lately?

    • Where have you noticed a shift in how you trust or respond to Him?

    • What feels different in your faith now compared to six months ago?

    • Where might He be inviting you to take the next step, even if it’s small?

I also share what it’s like to be a guest on the podcast and why I believe every story matters, including yours. Whether you’re in the middle of motherhood, healing, waiting, or everyday faithfulness, your small steps of obedience are seen. They matter. And God is still working.

  • Faith Reframed Part 3/3 - Faith Stand Firm in Your Faith, A Call to Bold Christian Living
    Dec 30 2025

In this episode, it is just me, sharing what has been stirring in my spirit as we close out this year. I want to remind you that you do not have to wait for a new year or a perfect moment to experience a shift in your relationship with the Lord. That shift can begin right now.

This episode wraps up our Faith Reframed series and continues the conversation. Today, I am talking about why faith is not passive and why God often calls us to stand, not sit.

Faith is not about comfort, appearances, or checking spiritual boxes. Real faith requires courage, awareness, and action, especially when standing feels uncomfortable or lonely.

In this episode, I chat about:

    • Why faith was never meant to be passive, and how comfort can quietly stall growth

    • The warning against lukewarm faith, found in Revelation 3:16

    • How religion without relationship leads to spiritual emptiness

    • What it looks like to stand firm, knowing who you are and whose you are in Christ

    • Praying with authority, trusting the power of Jesus’ name

    • Why standing often requires discomfort, and how God uses it for growth

    • My own experience with passive faith, and what surrender changed

    • The call to courage and strength, from 1 Corinthians 16:13

    • Simple ways to stand daily, Scripture, prayer, obedience, and community

    • Why the Book of James is a powerful place to start when faith feels stuck

If you have felt spiritually stuck, disconnected, or unsettled, this episode is an invitation to pause and ask God what standing looks like in this season. You do not have to wait for the calendar to change. You simply have to choose to stand.

Do you have a story where God has met you in a moment of surrender, obedience, or bold faith? I would love to hear it. I am always inviting women to join me as guests on the podcast to share how they are walking with God and putting perspective into practice. • Faith Reframed Part 2/3 - From Shepherd to Warrior, Trusting God in Your Everyday Battles
    Dec 23 2025

In today’s episode of Perspectives Into Practice, I sit down with my sister Bryanna for part two of our conversation on being a warrior woman of God. We center this discussion on the story of David and Goliath in 1 Samuel 17, and we talk honestly about what it looks like to stand in faith when you feel small, overlooked, or unqualified.

David was a shepherd boy, not a trained soldier. He spent his days in the fields, caring for sheep, fighting off predators, and learning to trust God in quiet, unseen places. What looked like obscurity was actually preparation. When the time came, David stepped forward in obedience, not because he felt ready, but because he trusted that God was with him.

Throughout this conversation, Bryanna and I unpack what it means to live out that same courage today, especially as women walking by faith.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • What it truly means to be a warrior woman in Christ, someone who listens to God’s voice, stands without fear, and is willing to defend truth.

    • How God prepares us in hidden seasons, just as David was shaped while tending sheep before ever facing Goliath.

    • Why obedience matters more than qualification, and how God often calls those the world underestimates.

    • The danger of wearing someone else’s armor, as seen when Saul tried to dress David in armor that did not fit him (1 Samuel 17).

    • Walking by faith with what God has already given you, even when it feels small, like David’s sling and stone.

    • How courage is built over time, through consistent obedience, much like physical strength grows with daily training.

    • Facing everyday Goliaths, whether that battle is mental health, marriage struggles, parenting, discouragement, or simply getting out of bed.

    • The reality of spiritual warfare, and why resistance can be a sign that you are walking in obedience.

    • Putting on the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6, and remembering that we are equipped for the fight.

    • Who the real enemy is, because “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers” (Ephesians 6:12).

    • Standing firm in faith, just as David declared, “You come to me with a sword, but I come to you in the name of the Lord” (1 Samuel 17:45).

If you are in a season where your battle feels unseen, overwhelming, or too big for you, this episode is for you. God doesn't just call the qualified; He qualifies the called. If you are standing in front of your own Goliath today, you are not alone, and you are not unarmed.

if you have a story where God has met you in the middle of your own everyday battle, big or small, I would love to hear it. I am always looking for women to join me on the podcast and share how God has worked in their lives and how they are putting perspective into practice. • Faith Reframed Part 1/3 - From Religion to Relationship: When Faith Gets Real and Church Feels Hard
    Dec 16 2025

In this 3-part series, my sister Bryanna and I dig deep into what it really means to walk with God, not just believe in Him. From letting go of religion to embracing real relationships, to becoming the warrior women God calls us to be, to learning from David’s raw and real story, and finally, why faith isn’t passive. If your faith feels like it needs a reset or a deeper fire, this series is for you.

So many of us have been there, showing up every week, doing all the “right” things, but deep down wondering, is this really what a relationship with Jesus is supposed to feel like?

In part one of our series, this powerful episode, my sister Bryanna and I dive into a conversation that’s part personal testimony, part honest reflection on modern church culture. We talk about what it means to move from religion to relationship, but also what happens when the church you love no longer feels like it’s leading people to the heart of Jesus.

She shares how a women’s conference woke something up in her, reminding her what the presence of God really feels like, and how painful it’s been to realize that not everyone in the church is there for the same reason. We talk about ministry burnout, performative faith, and how hard it is to walk away from a church that once felt like home.

Scripture threads through it all like Matthew 11:30, “My yoke is easy and my burden is light,” and Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron…”, reminding us that Jesus invites us into rest, not religion.

If you’ve been carrying quiet questions about your faith, your church, or your role in it all, this episode is for you.

If you have a story like this to share, I’d love to hear it.

  • Dangers of Roblox for Kids: A Christian Mom’s Story of Discernment and Spiritual Protection
    Dec 9 2025

In this powerful episode of Perspectives into Practice, I welcome my longtime friend Emily to discuss a story every parent needs to hear. What started as a typical game of Roblox for Emily’s kids quickly turned into a wake-up call when spiritual darkness crept in through something hiding in plain sight.

Together, we unpack how easily the enemy sneaks into our homes through screens, why spiritual discernment is a must, not just for us, but for our children, and how we can stay alert without living in fear. Emily shares how God redeemed her own story of marriage and motherhood, and how He’s continuing to guide her family through small, faithful steps.

With heartfelt encouragement and practical wisdom, this episode will help you reframe boundaries as protection, not punishment, and invite God to be the gatekeeper of your home.

    Scriptures Referenced:

    • James 4:7 – “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

    • 1 Peter 5:8 – “Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”

    • Judges (general reference to spiritual leadership and the dangers of doing what is right in one’s own eyes)

“Does this honor God?” - A simple question that can shape the conversations you have with your kids starting today.

Tune in to be equipped, encouraged, and reminded that God is not distracted, even when we are.

  • Faith, Obedience, and the Courage to Follow God’s Call
    Dec 2 2025

Have you ever felt God calling you to something that felt way bigger than your qualifications? In this episode, I sit down with my new friend Allison to talk about how obedience often starts in the stillness and leads to something far greater than we imagined. Allison shares the moment she heard God speak clearly in a quiet Alabama parking lot, how He used her passion for running and storytelling to launch a podcast, and how obedience became the path to both healing and purpose.

We explore how fear of failure can hold us back, why community matters so much when we're stepping into something new, and how God's affirmations often come in quiet, unexpected ways. Allison also reminds us that our stories, every single one, are worth sharing, not because they're polished, but because they reveal God’s heart in the ordinary.

Scripture references we talk through include:

    • Hebrews 12:1–2 and the power of the "great cloud of witnesses"

    • Galatians 6:2 about carrying one another’s burdens

    • Moses and Gideon's reluctance in response to God's call

If you’ve been wrestling with a “yes” God’s asking from you, this episode will encourage you to take that next faithful step, even if it feels small.

Friend, if this message speaks to you, I’d love to hear your story.
