    Feb 16 2026

    Send a text

    Happy Family Day 🤍

In today’s episode, we’re talking about something that makes connection so much easier in our homes understanding your child’s love language.

Before we jump into family fun, I wanted to share how learning the five love languages for kids has completely changed the way we connect in our big family. When you understand how each child gives and receives love, it becomes so much simpler to love them intentionally — without feeling like you have to give everyone the exact same thing.

    We talk about:
    • The five love languages for kids
    • What each one looks like in real life
    • How love languages shift as kids grow
    • Why filled love tanks help kids thrive emotionally and relationally
    • How knowing your child’s love language makes discipline and correction easier

If you’ve ever wondered how to give your kids enough love and attention — especially in a busy season — this conversation will encourage you.

    Resources mentioned:

I hope you press pause and go make a memory. Fun doesn’t have to cost money — it just requires connection 🤍

  • How My 2025 Bingo Card Really Went
    Dec 22 2025

    Send us a text

Every year between Boxing Day and New Year’s, I take a quiet afternoon to look back on the year behind me and gently look ahead to what’s next.

For years, I did this by setting goals across a few simple categories — faith, family, health, friendships, and personal growth. Nothing fancy or overwhelming… just intentional rhythms for the season of motherhood I was in.

Last year, I decided to try something new.

Instead of a traditional goal list, I created a 2025 Bingo Card — 25 simple, meaningful things I hoped to do, experience, or grow in throughout the year. Some were practical, some were fun, some were deeply personal… and one square mattered more than all the others.

In this episode, I’m walking you through my bingo card in real time — sharing what I accomplished, what surprised me (hello, starting a podcast), what didn’t happen, and what I’m carrying forward into the next year.

    We’ll talk about:
    • Simple, realistic goal-setting for busy moms
    • Unexpected wins and missed squares (and why both matter)
    • Health, faith, family, friendships, and creativity in real life
    • Letting go of perfection and choosing grace instead
    • Why reflection is just as important as planning

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by goal-setting or like New Year’s resolutions just aren’t for you anymore, this episode is a gentle reminder that growth can be slow, imperfect, and still incredibly meaningful.

I’ll be taking a short break while the kids are home for the holidays, and I’ll be back in January with some really fun and practical episodes to kick off the new year.

Thanks for being here — and for walking this season with me.

Christmas traditions can be magical… but they can also feel overwhelming when life is busy and expectations are high. In this episode, I’m sharing the traditions Micah and I grew up with, the ones we’ve carried into our home as parents of seven, and the ones we’ve gently let go of as the seasons of our family have changed.

From becoming a mom on Christmas morning, to the cozy rhythms we’ve added over the years — sugar cookies, Christmas puzzles, Playmobil nativity storytelling, and the chaos of seven stockings — this conversation is full of heart, nostalgia, and permission to create a Christmas that works for your family, not against it.

    I’ll also share:
✨ Our favourite Christmas morning routines
✨ The traditions that bring our home the most joy
    ✨ The ones we’ve outgrown — guilt-free

✨ And encouragement for moms who feel overwhelmed by December

Whether your holiday season feels magical, messy, or a mix of both, I hope this episode reminds you that you don’t have to do it all — you just get to do what matters.
