  • Wholehearted Obedience Matters
    Jan 22 2026

Welcome back to Present on Purpose.

In this episode, I share a personal update, cast vision for 2026, and introduce an important shift in the podcast through shorter, intentional mini-series designed to keep us anchored in the Word and moving with purpose.

We discuss what it means to invite God into every season, make necessary adjustments, and steward our time, energy, and obedience well—especially in seasons of increase and demand. I also share exciting updates, including the upcoming Henry Doug apparel line, the release of a reflective Season One journal, and how these projects are rooted in obedience, not ambition.

The teaching portion centers on Numbers 32, unpacking a sobering truth: God’s promises come with requirements. Obedience is not enough if it is not wholehearted. Through the story of the Israelites, Moses, and the tribes who stopped short of the Promised Land, we explore how partial obedience, divided hearts, and settling near—but not in—God’s promise can cost us future seasons.

This episode is a call to examine the heart posture behind our obedience and to enter 2026 fully aligned, fully surrendered, and fully committed to God’s direction.

    Scripture Focus:
    Numbers 32
    Proverbs 4:23

If you are preparing for a new season, navigating transitions, or sensing that God is calling you deeper—this conversation is for you.

Thank you for tapping in. More to come in February.

  • Finding Favor: The Story of Noah
    Nov 21 2025

In this episode of Present on Purpose, we continue our walk through the book of Genesis—this time focusing on Noah and the weight of his obedience. We explore the difference between the lineage of Cain and the lineage of Seth, how generational choices shape the path we walk, and why Noah’s favor with God is a reminder that righteousness is a decision.

Through prayer, reflection, and scripture-based insight, we dig into the power of our daily choices, the importance of community and accountability, and the reality that walking with God requires courage, clarity, and intentional spiritual growth.

If you’ve ever questioned the impact of your decisions, felt stretched in your faith, or wondered what sets certain people apart spiritually—this episode brings perspective.

    Takeaways include:

    • Obedience is a daily choice that sets you apart

    • Lineage influences you, but doesn’t define you

    • Noah’s favor shows what it means to walk closely with God

    • Community and accountability protect spiritual growth

    • Comfort must be surrendered for transformation

    • Decisions form identity and purpose

  • Favor Has A Formula
    Nov 13 2025

In today’s episode, we walk through Genesis 6 and the story of Noah — not just the ark, but the heart that qualified him to be “the one.” Noah was chosen because he was righteous, blameless, and walked closely with God, even in a corrupt generation.

    We talk about:

    • How God sees our thoughts, motives, and imagination

    • Why being “the one” requires a heart for God

    • The discomfort of obedience and why it matters

    • How partial obedience can cost you the promise

    • How God gives specific instructions for what He calls you to build

    • My running journey and how God used it to teach discipline, faith, and surrender

    • The song shaping this season for me: “For Your Glory” by Tasha Cobbs

    Ask yourself:

    • What has God asked me to build that I’ve delayed?

    • What heartwork do I need to surrender?

    • Am I willing to do anything for His glory?

Noah changed the world with simple obedience — and God can do the same with you.

Tune in and let God speak to your heart.
