• Settling Short of the Promise: Comfort-Based Faith
    Feb 19 2026

    Season Two is here.

In this episode, we return to the foundation — revelation over perfection — and unpack a powerful truth from Book of Numbers 32.

The tribes of Reuben and Gad were on the brink of the Promised Land… and chose to settle just outside of it. The land looked good. It was suitable. It made sense.

But it wasn’t what God originally promised.

    This episode explores:

    • The difference between believing in God and believing God can move through you
    • How comfort-based faith causes us to accept “good” over God’s best
    • Why disobedience and self-limiting beliefs can quietly remove us from promise
    • How doubt in ourselves can become doubt in God
    • Why provision without obedience becomes distraction

We also walk through a practical, personal example — what a “smooth drive” prayer revealed about consistency, stewardship, and maintaining answered prayers.

    The Promised Land requires warfare.
    It requires responsibility.
It requires faith beyond what feels safe.

The question is not whether God is able.
The question is whether you believe you can steward what He’s promised.

This episode also introduces Henry Doug — a faith-based clothing line rooted in identity, obedience, and wearing the Word with intention.

If you’ve ever felt tempted to settle, slow down, or shrink back from what God showed you — this conversation is for you.

    Seek. Read. Pray.
Revelation is for all who pursue it.

  • Wholehearted Obedience Matters
    Jan 22 2026

Welcome back to Present on Purpose.

In this episode, I share a personal update, cast vision for 2026, and introduce an important shift in the podcast through shorter, intentional mini-series designed to keep us anchored in the Word and moving with purpose.

We discuss what it means to invite God into every season, make necessary adjustments, and steward our time, energy, and obedience well—especially in seasons of increase and demand. I also share exciting updates, including the upcoming Henry Doug apparel line, the release of a reflective Season One journal, and how these projects are rooted in obedience, not ambition.

The teaching portion centers on Numbers 32, unpacking a sobering truth: God’s promises come with requirements. Obedience is not enough if it is not wholehearted. Through the story of the Israelites, Moses, and the tribes who stopped short of the Promised Land, we explore how partial obedience, divided hearts, and settling near—but not in—God’s promise can cost us future seasons.

This episode is a call to examine the heart posture behind our obedience and to enter 2026 fully aligned, fully surrendered, and fully committed to God’s direction.

    Scripture Focus:
    Numbers 32
    Proverbs 4:23

If you are preparing for a new season, navigating transitions, or sensing that God is calling you deeper—this conversation is for you.

Thank you for tapping in. More to come in February.

  • Finding Favor: The Story of Noah
    Nov 21 2025

In this episode of Present on Purpose, we continue our walk through the book of Genesis—this time focusing on Noah and the weight of his obedience. We explore the difference between the lineage of Cain and the lineage of Seth, how generational choices shape the path we walk, and why Noah’s favor with God is a reminder that righteousness is a decision.

Through prayer, reflection, and scripture-based insight, we dig into the power of our daily choices, the importance of community and accountability, and the reality that walking with God requires courage, clarity, and intentional spiritual growth.

If you’ve ever questioned the impact of your decisions, felt stretched in your faith, or wondered what sets certain people apart spiritually—this episode brings perspective.

    Takeaways include:

    • Obedience is a daily choice that sets you apart

    • Lineage influences you, but doesn’t define you

    • Noah’s favor shows what it means to walk closely with God

    • Community and accountability protect spiritual growth

    • Comfort must be surrendered for transformation

    • Decisions form identity and purpose

  • Favor Has A Formula
    Nov 13 2025

In today’s episode, we walk through Genesis 6 and the story of Noah — not just the ark, but the heart that qualified him to be “the one.” Noah was chosen because he was righteous, blameless, and walked closely with God, even in a corrupt generation.

    We talk about:

    • How God sees our thoughts, motives, and imagination

    • Why being “the one” requires a heart for God

    • The discomfort of obedience and why it matters

    • How partial obedience can cost you the promise

    • How God gives specific instructions for what He calls you to build

    • My running journey and how God used it to teach discipline, faith, and surrender

    • The song shaping this season for me: “For Your Glory” by Tasha Cobbs

    Ask yourself:

    • What has God asked me to build that I’ve delayed?

    • What heartwork do I need to surrender?

    • Am I willing to do anything for His glory?

Noah changed the world with simple obedience — and God can do the same with you.

Tune in and let God speak to your heart.

  • Consequences, Covenants, and Course-Correction (Genesis 4–6)
    Nov 6 2025

In this episode of Present On Purpose, we pick up with Cain and Abel and read forward into Genesis 6 to see how our choices confirm our covenant. We unpack God’s warning to Cain—“sin is crouching at the door”—and why anger and dejection are red flags in the soil of our hearts. We trace how rebellion travels through generations (Cain → Lamech), yet God’s love and mercy still break in—even marking Cain for protection. Finally, we sit with Genesis 6:5–8: God’s grief over pervasive evil…and the hope that “Noah found favor.”

    • Why God accepted Abel’s offering but not Cain’s (heart posture > performance)

    • What “angry” and “dejected” reveal about pride, accountability, and rebellion

    • How sin seeds consequences across generations—and how mercy still meets us

    • Why obedience still matters in corrupt cultures (Noah as a blueprint)

    • Reflection prompts: Where is God warning me? How do I handle correction? Am I living like Cain or building like Noah?

    Genesis 4:1–17, 4:23–26; Genesis 5 (overview); Genesis 6:1–8

If this blessed you, follow the show, rate it, and share it with a friend. Let’s be a community that chooses obedience—and eats the fruit of good consequences.

  • Your Choices Confirm Your Covenant
    Oct 30 2025

You’re not stuck—you’re sowing. In this episode, we unpack the truth that you are living in the consequences of your choices—and how those choices are actively confirming a covenant, either with God or with everything opposing Him. Through Genesis 1–4 and a look at Judges 2, we trace God’s original intent, the fallout of Adam and Eve, and the heart behind Cain and Abel to reveal a simple path forward: examine, repent, and confirm your covenant with daily obedience.

    What you’ll learn

    • Why God’s nature (He cannot lie) anchors seed • time • harvest (Gen 8:22; Gen 2:15–17)

    • How disobedience seeds cycles—and how obedience seeds freedom

    • Cain & Abel: comparison → envy → anger → murder (Gen 4:1–16)

    • Three steps to (re)build your covenant with God, starting today

    • The difference between consequences as punishment vs. consequences as principle

    Scripture references
Genesis 1–3; Genesis 4:1–16; Genesis 2:15–17; Judges 2; John 3:16; Romans 8:1–2 (helpful for freedom in Christ)

3 steps to create your covenant (today)

    1. Examine your current covenant by your daily choices.

    2. Ask forgiveness & repent—turn 180°, not 360°.

    3. Confirm your covenant with consistent, obedient choices.

    Try this today
Pray: “Lord, show me one choice I need to change—and give me Your strength to choose You.”
Comment your declaration: “I choose covenant.”
