About this listen

Redeemed Resilience with Tracey

Redeemed Resilience is a Christian-based podcast about navigating trauma, grief, mental health, and the messy parts of healing.

Through honest conversations, personal stories, faith, and encouragement, we’ll talk about what it really looks like to keep going when life changes you forever—and how God can bring hope, purpose, and strength from even our deepest pain.

Your pain is part of your story, but it doesn’t get to write the ending. 🤍

Trigger Warning: In this podcast I will be sharing my story. Everyone's is different and I ask that you respect my journey or anyone that shares their's here.

    🎙️ REDEEMED RESILIENCE — EPISODE 3

When Someone You Love Dies by Suicide

⚠️ Trigger Warning: Suicide, grief, and loss

There is grief… and then there is suicide grief.

When someone you love dies by suicide, you aren’t only grieving the person you lost. You’re left grieving with questions that may never have answers.

What if I had done something differently?

    What if I had stayed?

    What if I had called?

What if I had known how bad things really were?

After Steven died, people told me, “It wasn’t your fault.”

And I would say, “I know.”

But knowing something and believing it deep inside yourself are two very different things.

Because when the person you loved is suddenly gone, your mind can replay everything—the last conversations, the arguments, the warning signs you think you should have noticed, and every decision you made before that final day.

In Episode 3 of Redeemed Resilience, I’m talking about what it has really been like to lose my husband to suicide—the guilt, the unanswered questions, the complicated grief, the love that didn’t disappear when he died, and learning that I can miss him while still acknowledging how difficult our story became.

I’m also talking about God in the middle of it.

Because grief like this can shake your faith. It can make you ask questions you’re almost afraid to say out loud.

But I’m learning that faith doesn’t mean I never question.

It means I keep reaching for God even when I don’t understand.

    This episode is for Steven.

And it’s for every person who has ever loved someone they couldn’t save.

You are allowed to grieve them.

You are allowed to love them.

You are allowed to remember the good while acknowledging the painful.

And you are allowed to keep living your life while carrying their memory with you.

  • Episode 2: When life doesn't go according to your plan
    Aug 21 2026

Sometimes the hardest thing to accept is that life doesn’t always turn out the way we planned.

I’ve had dreams change, people I loved leave this world far too soon, relationships break, and chapters of my life end in ways I never saw coming.

There were moments when I looked at my life and thought, “God, this isn’t how it was supposed to go.”

But I’m learning that maybe I was never supposed to have the whole story figured out.

Episode 2 of Redeemed Resilience is personal. It’s about grief, heartbreak, unexpected endings, and learning to loosen my grip on the life I thought I was supposed to have.

I’m learning to stop asking God to bless the story I’ve already written…

and start trusting Him enough to hand Him the pen. 🤍

🎙️ Episode 2: When Life Doesn’t Go According to Your Plan

If your life looks nothing like you thought it would right now, this episode is for you.

Your story isn’t over just because the plan changed.

    God is still writing. ✝️🤍

🎙️ Episode 1: Why I’m Starting Redeemed Resilience

In the very first episode of Redeemed Resilience, I’m sharing a little about who I am, what I’ve walked through, and why God placed this podcast on my heart. ❤️‍🩹

We’re talking about grief, trauma, mental health, faith, healing, and what it means to be redeemed by God while still finding your way through the hard parts of life.

This isn’t a story about having it all figured out. It’s about being still here, still healing, still growing, and trusting that God can give purpose to our pain.

✨ Your story isn’t over. God is still writing it.
