• Opening A Booth Rental Salon - What I'm Doing

    I'm opening a Booth Rental Salon and this is all new!

    It's no secret, I've been an independent stylist for more than half of my career. I've worked at both commission and booth rental salons. In the end, I really only ever felt like I fit in when I worked by myself or with an assistant in my Salon Suite.

    But things in a salon suite were kinda lonely.

    I always wished I had people around me who were ambitious and inspiring.

    I opened Lumiere House last year as an education & rental space that I could use as a corporate office also.

    A month or so ago I had an idea.

    What if I could create a space and build a team of independent stylists?

    Fast forward to now and I am working toward just that.

    In this episode I will be sharing my vision, what I am doing to work toward that vision and where I am at currently.

    “I have had a difficult year booth renting. (boundary issues with owner/stylist) And just not making / putting myself out there enough on my end. My lease is up and I have no idea where to go from here. I never made enough $$$ while booth renting, but didn’t work hard at marketing either. Salon suites jump up over double what I used to pay, and I hardly made that. Any advise. booth rent another salon? Say a prayer and go for the suite?”
