This week on the podcast, Pastor Rob might be changing careers… apparently beekeeping is calling. 🐝Before we get into Rob's potential second career, we catch up on the upcoming arrival of Baby Brandie, talk about what's been happening with Youth, recap some of the biggest moments from the summer, and somehow find time to debate pumpkin spice and rank the seasons. We also look back at our Ghosted series and talk through some of the highlights from Sunday and what's been happening on Thursday nights. Then we pull back the curtain on something we don't usually get to talk about: how we actually create a message. What does sermon prep look like? How do we structure our notes? Why all the colors? How much do the screens factor into the process? And how closely do we actually stick to the notes once we're on stage?A little behind-the-scenes church life, a little sermon prep, and possibly the beginning of Pastor Rob's beekeeping career.Another week of Off the Record.
