  • God is not the author of suffering: Understanding Generational Bondage
    Jan 21 2026

God is not the author of evil, pain, or temptation. Scripture clearly reveals His character as loving, faithful, and perfectly good. James 1:13–17 teaches that God does not tempt anyone, nor does evil come from Him—every good and perfect gift comes from above. 1 John 4:8 reminds us that God is love, not the source of harm or destruction. Deuteronomy 32:4affirms that all His ways are just, faithful, and without wrongdoing.

At times, suffering can be the result of living in a broken world, personal choices, or even generational bondage and inherited patterns of sin, not the hand of God. Scripture shows that consequences can travel through families when cycles remain unaddressed, but God’s desire is always redemption, healing, and freedom—not affliction.

This teaching invites you to renew your understanding of who God truly is, separate His holy character from the brokenness of the world, and anchor your faith in the truth of His goodness, justice, and unfailing love.

  • Out of context - Misusing God’s Word
    Jan 5 2026

Many take these verses out of context. Paul spoke to believers—those surrendered to Christ. God’s promises are for those in a loving relationship with Him, not based on works, but on a pure heart expressed through prayer, worship, studying the Word, and aligning with His purpose. When surrendered to Jesus, you can declare authority over the enemy. Satan seeks to destroy, so live repentant and in God’s will.
