Is he pushing to see you more so he can give to you, or so he can take from you?

Back to the basics: You're an amazing creature.

You're instinctual, inspirational, intuitional. Even if you're not using your intuition, you've got it in you.

We want to activate the parts of you that you're not using, so the man in front of you sees an open vessel.

Someone who can hear him, take his vibes, send them back and play with him.

Little by little, he will open up.

You can even teach a man who doesn't know how to roll the tennis ball back and forth: "It would feel really great to be asked how I am feeling right now."

And when he's not available, you can still get your needs for connection met. Then when you see him, you're less in the complaint and disappointment department, and more in the "I love you" department.

Your goal is: I love you. I want to open this up. I want to make this work.

He is shut down, and you are the one doing more. So you go looking for the right question, the thing that will finally open him up.

That is not where it is. If you are shut down, he is not going to be able to hear you either.

The difference is how open am I?

Energy gets circulated even if you are standing ten feet from him, or flirting with a man you have never met. You see someone across the room, he smiles back, and something is happening. There is a circle. That is play. Keep it going — but the moment you shut it down, it stops.

And he can only get as open as you are open. He does not trust his knowledge, or his hands, or his abilities. He no longer trusts anything. So this is where you are the leader. You are the one who opens.

You have an opportunity with the guy you are with — to help him open up and to feel confident, by you opening up and receiving and being curious and playing.

He says the conversations are boring. And you go back through everything you said, looking for the part that was wrong.

That's not where it is. What is boring is when people talk from here up. I did this, I did that, that was interesting, what do you do?

He is not saying I'm bored by what you're talking about. He is saying I'm bored because you're talking about you.

Reporting is boring.

Poetry is not boring.

You can be saying the most personal words in the world, but if your body is shut down, he can't feel it.

It is the same as a singer with a great, amazing voice who doesn't move you - you appreciate it, and then you go read your phone.

What stops you scrolling is somebody dancing their heart out. Something you can feel.

So he is not feeling something.

Which means you are not open.

We all say we want to be seen, and yet we are all terrified of being seen.

You want to be silent, because you are afraid of the feeling coming out - and yet you are still ringing. Men can feel the ring. And they can feel you sitting on it.

So find the moment you were terrified and kept going anyway. That is your hero story.

Then get into play, and you can ask anything. Because if you feel like you're playing, you are just at a much deeper level of yourself.
