    Jen Martins, DDS, has won two silvers and two bronzes at the World Championships in the Women's eight. She is looking forward to growing her dental practice and starting a family post-Tokyo.

    Kristina Walker hails from Wolfe Island, Ontario and has a podcast called "the Difference Makers".

    Steph Grauer grew up in Vancouver, BC and schooled at Stanford University in California. Plagued by a rib injury, she now has a titanium plate to fortify her skeleton, and one heck of a healing mindset.

    A growth spurt in grades nine and ten sent this hockey-loving kid from outside Peterborough, Ontario to a physiotherapist to strengthen his core. Trevor Jones, who is now 203 cm or 6'8", initially used rowing to build core stability and strengthen his spine. With help from veteran coach Carol Love, Trevor eventually came onto the sport and won the U23 men's single in 2017 and 2018. Now, after overcoming some injuries and training under the legendary Dick Tonks, he is ready to test his mettle in Tokyo 2020.

    With a history of volleyball and a love of slamming iron, Gabrielle Smith brings ample anaerobic power to her partnership. Her BSc in Cell Biology informs her training, nutrition and recovery. To fund her athletic journey, she has worked as a lab tech, lifeguard, warehouse stocker, cleaning lady and more.

    Jessica Sevick can go forever, using her aerobic capacity to drive the double in the middle of the race. When she was a child, she suffered a major brain trauma when she fell off her luge in a camp at the Canadian Olympic Park in Calgary. She has recovered – mostly. Jessica has an engineering degree from the U of A and is pursuing a master's degree in neuroscience at UBC.

    William Peter Simpson Crothers is the veteran of this boat, having won Silver in London 2012 and competed in Rio 2016. A spiritual experience in the woods near Whistler, BC convinced this man that his rowing journey was not over yet, and pushed him to Tokyo 2020.

    Gavin Stone has the lungs and the muscle. Hailing from Island Lake Rowing Club in Orangeville, ON, this gentleman is pursuing chemical engineering and wastewater management.

    Luke Gadson was inspired to pursue his Olympic Journey by 2012 Olympian, Doug Csima at the Leander Club in Hamilton, Ontario. He is an aspiring Journeyman Electrician.

    Jakub Buczek started his career as a lightweight but has since built out his body to be a competitor in the heavyweight competition. Raided in Boston, and schooled at Columbia University, this athlete took advantage of his dual citizenship to row for Canada.

    Josh King got his start at the Ottawa Rowing Club in Ontario. He is another former lightweight that contributes real speed to the heavy men's four and is part of this crew as the spare.
