In the New Testament, the Greek term often translated as "repentance" is metanoia (μετάνοια), which literally signifies a "change of mind" or a fundamental shift in one's mental framework and outlook. It is not merely a stopping of behavior, but a restructuring of the internal lens through which we view God, ourselves, and the world. Have you ever thought about applying that to your own artwork? When we look at the book of Genesis do we see that God made us to create? When we read Exodus and God is providing in great detail how he wants the tabernacle to be created, do we see that as a list of instruction? Or do we see it as a divine opportunity for those being instructed to grow themselves as creative individuals? What can we learn from that?
