  • Episode 14: FAITH
    Mar 7 2026

In this episode of Sanctified and Sleep Deprived, we finish the final chapter of Family Values by Gather Moms by talking about one of the most foundational parts of the Christian life: faith.

Hebrews 11 tells us that faith is the foundation of what we hope for, and that without faith it’s impossible to please God. But what does faith actually look like in real life — especially in motherhood?

In this conversation, we wrestle with the tension between evidence and belief, and the reality that at some point every believer has to choose where they place their faith. Because the truth is, everyone has faith — the question is simply what we put our faith in.

We also talk about the beautiful reminder that our kids ultimately belong to God. As moms, we aren’t raising our children — we’re stewarding God’s children, and faith looks like continually asking Him, “Lord, how do you want me to raise your kids?”

We also discuss how God never changes. He is steady and faithful while we grow and mature in our faith journey. Even when our faith feels small, God meets us right where we are — just like He did with Peter when he stepped out onto the water.

And ultimately, faith isn’t meant to feel like an obligation. It’s something we pursue because our hearts long for God.

If you’ve ever wrestled with questions, struggled to trust, or wondered what faith actually looks like in everyday life, this conversation will encourage you to keep seeking Him.

  • Episode 12 Gratitude
    Jan 31 2026

In Episode 12 of Sanctified and Sleep Deprived, Kate takes the lead as we dive into the topic of gratitude through the lens of the book Family Values by Gather Moms.

As busy, tired moms, gratitude doesn’t always come naturally—especially in the middle of messes, attitudes, and never-ending to-do lists. In this conversation, we talk honestly about what gratitude looks like in real life, not the Pinterest-perfect version. We explore how choosing gratitude can shift our hearts, change the atmosphere in our homes, and draw us closer to God even when motherhood feels overwhelming.

If you’ve ever struggled to feel thankful in this season, this episode will remind you that gratitude isn’t about pretending things are easy—it’s about recognizing God’s presence right where you are.

Grab your coffee (or reheat it for the third time) and join us as we grow together in gratitude, one imperfect day at a time.

  • Episode 11- Responsibility
    Jan 17 2026

In Episode 11 of Sanctified and Sleep Deprived, Bethany leads the cousins through Chapter 9 of Family Values by Gather Moms, centered on the theme of responsibility.

Responsibility can feel heavy in motherhood—so many roles, expectations, and unseen responsibilities that pile up day after day. In this episode, we talk honestly about what responsibility looks like as a mom, a wife, and a Christian, and how easily it can shift from faithful stewardship into overwhelming pressure.

Together, we unpack the difference between taking responsibility God actually gives us versus carrying burdens He never asked us to hold. We reflect on how responsibility is meant to shape our character, strengthen our faith, and point our families back to Christ—not drain us dry.

If you’ve ever felt stretched thin trying to do it all “right,” this conversation will encourage you to pause, realign, and remember who you’re ultimately responsible to.

  • Episode 9- Selflessness
    Dec 21 2025

In this episode of Sanctified & Sleep Deprived, Kate leads us in an honest, heartfelt conversation about selflessness — what it looks like in real life, why it’s so hard (especially during the holidays), and how Jesus models it perfectly.

As Christian moms, we’re often told to “put others first,” yet the holiday season can leave us feeling drained, overwhelmed, and running on empty. Together, we unpack the Family Values chapter on selflessness from Gather Moms and wrestle with the tension between serving others and battling our own selfishness.

We share real-life stories of when selflessness came naturally — and when it absolutely didn’t. We talk openly about exhaustion, motivation, and how faith sometimes feels strong… and sometimes feels absent in the moment.

Bethany walks us through Matthew 26, reminding us that Jesus knew exactly what was coming — betrayal, suffering, the cross — and still chose obedience out of love for us. His life is the ultimate example of selflessness, and it challenges us to ask a hard but holy question: What do we need to lay down and “hang on the cross” in our own lives?

We wrap up with practical tools and habits to help us practice selflessness in everyday motherhood, a reflection challenge, and encouragement for the moments when we simply don’t have it in us to give anymore.

If you’re feeling worn down, stretched thin, or convicted in the best way — this conversation is for you.

  • EPISODE 8 -Resiliency
    Dec 6 2025

This week on Spiritual Growth for Christian Moms, Bethany and her cousins dive into a topic every mom knows well: resiliency — getting back up when life, motherhood, or emotions knock you flat.

Using the “Resiliency” chapter from Family Values by Gather Moms, we unpack what resilience looks like in real mom-life moments: the overwhelm, the setbacks, the things that stretch us thin, and the unexpected moments where God shows up and carries us.

We share personal stories of times we had to be resilient (even when we didn’t feel like it), moments our kids or husbands surprised us with their own strength, and the ways God teaches us through every struggle.

Then we look at the ultimate example of resiliency — Jesus. From His childhood challenges, to being misunderstood, to betrayal, to the cross, Jesus shows us exactly how to trust God when life feels heavy.

    You’ll hear:

    • What stood out from the Gather Moms chapter

    • The scriptures that hit us hardest

    • How God builds resiliency in quiet, everyday moments

    • What habits actually help Christian moms stay grounded

    • How we can teach our kids to bounce back

    • One practical step you can take this week to grow resilience

We wrap with encouragement, reminding you: Resilience isn’t about perfection — it’s about getting back up with God’s help. And you don’t have to do it alone.
