  • 1000 Lb Sister S8:E10 - Til Chaos Do Us Part
    Mar 11 2026

1000 Lb Sisters S8:E10- "Getting Mercinal Right Now"

Season 8, Episode 10, “Getting Mercinal Right Now,” is basically wedding chaos with a side of family therapy. Amy’s big day arrives, but between cold feet (literally—she forgot shoes), missing relatives, and a wedding schedule that exists more as a suggestion than a rule, things get… very Slaton-family very quickly. There’s a lot of nervous energy, a lot of last-minute scrambling, and at least one moment where you’re genuinely not sure if the day will turn emotional, awkward, or full-on reality-TV meltdown.

Meanwhile, the family tries their best to behave themselves—which, historically, is not their strongest skill. Kids in bunny costumes run around, the guys struggle with basic formalwear, and everyone is quietly wondering if the day will stay peaceful or turn into the kind of family confrontation TLC editors dream about.

In the end, it’s messy, heartfelt, slightly delayed, and exactly the kind of unpredictable wedding episode you’d expect from this crew.

1000 Lb Sisters S8:E9 - "Crying Tears of Blood"

This week on 1000-lb Sisters, Amy decides ten days before her wedding is the perfect time to let someone operate on her eyeballs — because nothing says ‘bridal glow’ like potential temporary blindness.

Tammy is once again on the fence about going to the wedding, despite being, you know… invited. Emotional maturity is still buffering.

We get a rehearsal that goes exactly how you’d expect when toddlers are involved — chaos, tears, and Chris questioning everyone’s expectations of small children.

Also: bloody eye reveal, Halloween costumes, and Tammy giving the verbal equivalent of a shrug when she hears her sister made it out of surgery.

  • 1000 Lb Sisters S8:E8- Bourbon Street But Make It Boring
    Feb 25 2026

    1000 Lb Sisters S8E8 : "Something Borrowed, Someone's Blue"

New Orleans delivers chaos in sequins: Amy’s surprise bachelorette includes masks instead of strippers, beads flying dangerously from a Bourbon Street balcony, and Billy being consistently disappointed. Meanwhile, Tammy agrees to therapy, insists she’s already apologized (spoiler: she hasn’t), and spirals anytime someone says Andrea’s name wrong. Amy plans surgery dangerously close to her wedding, and the episode ends with a gift-shopping trip that somehow turns into another Tammy emotional implosion. Progress is attempted. Drama RSVP’d “yes.”

  • 1000 Lb Sisters S8:E7 - Amy Sees the Light, Andrea Sees Blisters
    Feb 18 2026

    1000 Lb Sisters S8:E7: "Bride-Diva"

Family drama is still simmering after Tammy’s birthday meltdown, with Amy drawing a hard line about not being trapped in an RV with her, Chris calling out what he sees as red flags, and everyone quietly agreeing the vibes are… unsafe. Andrea, meanwhile, is clearly at the end of her rope trying to manage Tammy’s escalating mood swings while dealing with her own health issues.

The standout moment is Amy’s eye appointment, which goes from casual to deeply emotional fast. She opens up about years of fear, insecurity, and believing her life had permanent limits—only to find out those limits might not be as fixed as she thought. It’s raw, honest, and one of the most human moments of the season.

Then we smash cut to New Orleans chaos: mispronounced beignets, busted RV appliances, graphic tees, voodoo cleansing, swamp kayaking (absolutely not), and a surprise bachelorette plan that lands… questionably.

It ends with classic reality-TV tension and a very suspicious cliffhanger, because of course it does.

  • 1000 Lb Sisters S8:E6 - Matching Shirts, Mismatched Reality
    Feb 11 2026

1000 Lb Sisters S8:E6 : “Reconciling Indifferences” Amy steps out of her comfort zone and into her artistic era while desperately hoping people actually show up. Chris is in full cruise-director mode, convinced a family trip will magically fix everything. Meanwhile, Tammy communicates exclusively through mixed signals, matching shirts, and emotional drive-bys—culminating in a birthday gathering that somehow manages to be awkward, confusing, and quietly explosive without anyone ever actually saying what they mean. Art is sold, feelings are… implied, and accountability once again misses the invite.

  • 1000 Lb Sisters S8:E5 - One Sister Levels Up, the Other Melts Down
    Feb 4 2026

1000 Lb Sisters S8:E5: "Idle Hands Are the Devil's B****"

This week proves that while some people are busy healing, setting boundaries, and planning a wedding, others are committed to reliving the same argument on an endless loop. Attempts at peace are met with selective memory, emotional whiplash, and the classic “I don’t care” defense — delivered loudly and repeatedly. Family members try to help, regret it immediately, and quietly suggest therapy. By the end of the episode, progress is happening… just not evenly.

  • 1000 Lb Sisters S8:E4 -Olive Branch Offered. Accountability Declined.
    Jan 28 2026

1000 Lb Sisters S8E4: Nobody’s Butt Monkey is basically wedding cake, bad vibes, and Tammy choosing chaos every chance she gets.

Amy barrels ahead with wedding plans while Tammy stews in her feelings, sweeps her empty house, and delivers peak smugness about literally everything. Billy’s here, sunflowers are everywhere, Caleb gets a quiet nod, and Tammy insists she’s the real victim despite blocking apologies in real time. Meanwhile, Amy’s family side-eyes her cake tasting as she flirts with dumping syndrome, burps, and keeps eating anyway—because nothing says “wedding prep” like nausea and judgment.

Andrea, saint of patience, tries to broker peace with salon trips, heartfelt talks, and trauma comparisons, but Tammy remains allergic to accountability. Amy goes dress shopping, looks genuinely happy for once, and declares herself knighted while emotionally upgrading her life without Tammy.

The long-awaited coffee shop sit-down? A disaster. Amy asks for accountability. Tammy deflects, escalates, and rage-quits before the apology she claims she was ready to give. Tears are shed, doors are slammed (including one marked “Customers Only”), and Andrea is left holding emotional receipts no one asked for.

By the end, Amy’s done. Wedding invite revoked. Sisterhood canceled. And Tammy? Officially fired from her long-held position as queen—because Amy is nobody’s butt monkey anymore.
