    Wandie Toledo’s (she/her) drive for Diversity Equity and Inclusion can tracked back to her pre-professional days as an INROADS intern in Boston. As a beneficiary of DEI program, she understands the impact a recruiter can make on a young person’s life.

    Wandie is the Diversity Acquisition Leader at T. Rowe Price where she champions diversity & inclusion recruiting strategies that advance firm priorities, business outcomes and a culture of inclusion and belonging. Prior to T. Rowe Price, Wandie was the Diversity Program Manager at Deloitte Consulting, Lead University Relations for Coca Cola and was the Manager of the INROADS Atlanta office.

    Wandie earned her undergraduate degree at Bentley University. She has also earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification from the Society of Human Resources and a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from University of South Florida.

    Wandie is also a wife and mom of 3 beautiful children and makes time to foster dogs, actively engage with civic activities, and mentor up and coming leaders.

    In this episode, Wandie and Natalia discusses Wandie's initiative to bring in diverse talent through external partnerships.     As a catalyst for innovation, Victoria Gemignani (she/her) is on a mission of disruption. In her current role as Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Consultant at Siemens, her focus is challenging standard recruitment models to yield more diverse talent. During her tenure as an HR professional, she has gained extensive experience in people analytics, employer branding, project management, operations, and talent strategy.

    Victoria received her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Pursuing her passion outside of work, Victoria serves on the Best Buddies New Jersey Advisory Board, an organization dedicated to the development and employment of individuals with IDD.

  • S2 EP 08 - Supporting the Recruitment of LGBTQ+ Talent

    Lee O. Ahlborn (they/them) is an artist, educator, and social justice advocate living and working in the greater Boston area. A Communications graduate from Northwestern University, Lee began their career as a theatre for young audiences professional in Chicago, working as a production manager, stage manager, teaching artist, and arts administrator. They have extensive experience in the non-profit arts sector, including work with the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie, Adventure Stage Chicago, Chicago Children’s Theatre, Mudlark Theater, For Youth Inquiry, and Filament Theatre, where they are currently a board member and chair of Filament’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access committee. Lee also has a background in sexual health education and sexual violence prevention work, and has worked with the Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health and Northwestern University to create participatory theatre experiences for young people rooted in the Reproductive Justice framework. Transferring these skills into a corporate setting, Lee now works as a Diversity Recruiting Specialist at Bain & Company, where they help drive Bain’s undergraduate recruiting partnership strategy and execution. They are closely involved with Bain’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, including BGLAD (Bain’s LGBTQ+ affinity group) and Bain Boston’s DEI programming team.

    In this episode, Lee and Natalia discussed the dimensions of diversity recruitment and how Lee and their team support the recruitment of LGBTQ+ talent. Listeners will be able to receive insight into how to think about diversity recruitment, especially to this extent.

    Amanda Delheimer's (she/her) scholarly and artistic work circles around the intersections of story, psychology, biases, and the body. She was chosen for the inaugural artEquity Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Facilitator cohort, funded by the Mellon Foundation and hosted by the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in 2015. Since then, she has actively engaged with the Theater Communications Group as a part of their anti-racism work, including presenting on “White Fragility and Social Location Theory” and “How to Break Down White Supremacy Culture” at their annual convening. For the Michigan Presenters Conference in Detroit, MI, she developed a workshop called “Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion—What does that mean for Presenters?” As the Artistic Director of 2nd Story, she has facilitated trainings, workshops, and experiences for partners on a local and national level, including work with Comcast NBC Universal, Motorola, Fifth/Third Bank, Skadden Arps, Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, the Gender and Sexuality Center at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and the National Able Network, among others.
