I did not leave the prosperity church because of American Gospel movie but the movie confirmed and gave me peace that I made a right choice leaving the prosperity gospel church. Better part is American Gospel gave me something to show to people who does not really understand the situation I was in but also help other Christians to remember the beauty of the gospel. The is facing some backlashes from the current prosperity gospel supporters and I had the exact same reaction I saw on comments. But seeds have been sowed and Spirit will work in their heart in God's timing. True gospel can take you through suffering to bear more spiritual fruit, not just in spite of it. These are my personal opinion that Strange Fire is good but American Gospel is better.
