  • Martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji : Must Listen Speech of Bhai Kanwaljit Singh Khadoor Sahib
    Mar 1 2026

Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib’s martyrdom was not just a historical moment—it was a deliberate and conscious intervention in the moral and spiritual direction of history. Just as Guru Nanak Sahib and Babur appeared on the historical stage together, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and Aurangzeb stood as successors to those two opposing legacies. When Aurangzeb attempted to impose forced conversions, the oppressed communities looked to their spiritual leaders, who in turn looked to the House of Guru Nanak for guidance and protection.Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib recognized that the time had come to place the true meaning of Dharma against the distorted version presented by oppressive power. By offering himself in defense of freedom of conscience and the right to practice one’s faith, Guru Sahib redefined righteousness for humanity. His stand remains one of the greatest declarations of spiritual courage and universal human rights.Must listen speech of Bhai Kanwaljit Singh Khadoor Sahib.

  • The Sikh Identity, Sikh Ideals and the Pathway to the Khalsa Raj
    Feb 28 2026

Bhai Gurmeet Singh of Ranchi shares a powerful personal experience of traveling to Madagascar, possibly becoming one of the first Sikhs to ever set foot on the island. Over 99% of the local people mistook him for a Muslim, simply because they had never encountered Sikh identity before. Through sincere acts of community service, Seva, and ration distribution, he introduced them to the core Sikh principles of Sangat, Pangat, and Langar, which left a deep impression on the local communities. He also introduces Sardar Makhan Singh, a key revolutionary of the Ghadar Movement, who not only worked for the freedom of Punjab but also played a significant role in the struggle connected to Kenya’s independence movement. He endured one of the longest periods of political imprisonment among freedom fighters of that era. This journey raises a deeper and important question:Who is a Sikh in the modern world? The answer lies not merely in outward identity, but in living and practicing the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji — working for Sarbat da Bhala (welfare of all) and striving toward the vision of Begampura and Halimi Raj, a world free of fear, inequality, injustice, and oppression.Sikh identity is not limited by borders. It is a universal message of equality, unity, Seva, human rights, and social justice.

  • Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s Message of Freedom vs Modern Subservience | 350th Shaheedi Samagam
    Feb 27 2026

On 21 November 2025, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College (Girls), Akkar, Patiala organized a Gurmat Smagam dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the Gurtagadi Diwas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the 350th Shaheedi Gurpurb of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, Bhai Dayala Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, and Bhai Mati Das Ji. Various speakers shared their views during the program.During this event, Dr. Kulwinder Singh from Dehradun also shared his thoughts with the students and the college staff. While speaking about Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, he shared how, even after being bestowed with Guruship, the Guru Sahib did not reveal himself openly, whereas on the other hand, the masands appointed by the government had proclaimed themselves to be Gurus. In the same way, even today, those who gain titles such as “CM” or “ministerial positions” through the government can only speak for the government, not for the common people and society. Therefore, we must reflect on whether we wish to uphold independence and free thinking like the Guru Sahib, or continue living in subservience to the present Hindutva regime.Listen to this speech yourself and share it with others.
