    Today's special episode is with one of the 2025 Murray State University Hall of Fame Inductees Casey Brockman. Casey played football for the Racers from 2009 through 2012. He threw for 71 touchdowns, rushed for 18, caught 3, and is 4th on the all-time passing list. Also, he is the 4th Racer QB to throw for over 6,000 yds in a career. Along with Casey, his teammate and outstanding receiver Marcus Harris is being inducted tonight. They are only the 4th teammate duo to be inducted in the same year.     In our first episode of Season 3 we have a conversation with LAST YEAR'S MOST LISTENED TO GUEST, KATELYN YOUNG. She ended her playing days at Murray State University as the all time leading scorer (3,029) and rebounder (1,215), Australian Professional NB1 League & National Champion. Now Katelyn serves as an Asst. Coach for the Lady Racers Basketball Program and discusses with us the adjustments going from player to coach as well as things about coaching that were expected and some that were not. Also, after a great start to the season (12-2) and (3-0) in the Missouri Valley Conference the Racers just won back to back double overtime games 2 days apart.     With High School Basketball starting this week and one of the biggest showcase events in the Nation right here in Benton Kentucky, today's episode is with Tyler Brockman of Marshall Co. High School who is an Assistant Athletic Director and point man for the HOOPFEST. This basketball event that was brought to Marshall Co. in 2001 by Steve Woodward has continued to bring top talent from around the country and includes 5 local teams: Marshall, Graves, Crittenden, Lyon, and McCracken. Since HOOPFEST has been hosted at Reed Conder Gymnasium 82 players that have participated in the event have been drafted in the NBA. Most notably, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Derek Rose, Andrew Wiggins, Andrew and Aaron Harrison, plus many more. In addition to seeing some of the top 100 ranked HS players you will also see Head Coaches from UK, Kansas, Michigan, Michigan St., Purdue, NC, and many more Div. 1 programs watching some of their future recruits. Tyler explains the process of putting this event together and the teams that will be at this year's showcase, which starts this Thursday at 4:30 and runs through Saturday night, also where to get tickets.
