Simple pleasures is a weekly podcast about finding the joy in the everyday, and celebrating the moments that make you feel good, however small they are.


When I was 25, I became estranged from my family and struggled to cope with the huge loss I was suddenly facing. Finding pockets of joy, now fondly known seven years later as simple pleasures, is what kept me going during the darkest of days. From putting on a fresh pair of socks to cooking the perfect soft-boiled egg. Purposefully seeking out the joy in my life, even if it felt fleeting, helped me find a whole new version of joy that I didn’t know existed before.
