Hello there and welcome SleepWalkers. I am your host "The Shade"

Sinister Travels is a weekly story telling show that dives into dark history, monsters, UFO’s, ghosts and the like, brought to you with some melancholic cynical humor.

I’ve been creating since I was a kid. Painting, drawing, writing stories, poetry and now podcasting. I wanted to create a show for people who love to travel and talk about the strange, the weird and the unexplained. I’m very much into all things paranormal and weird which got me looking into our own fucked up history. One may have nothing to do with the other, but it still fascinates me.

We have our free Tuesday show for all listeners, bonus content every Friday for patrons on Patreon.com/Sinistertravels and working expanding the show in every way.

Join me every week, as we explore a new city or part of the world with its own unique dark history, Lore, cryptids in the area, UFO sightings with our Sky Reports News and local ghost stories. Stories are rewritten with our unique twist and insights added in as well as the occasional made-up story but hey if you're into the Macabre, they can't all be stories, can they? As you may have noticed, our fans and patrons are called SleepWalkers, there is so much of our mind we haven't yet discovered or understand and somewhere between our reality and the veil lies the answers of the universe. So, as you doze off to sleep, you may wonder where you go or how you go there. Don't worry, your host "Shade" will be your guide in this world and the next.

    We're in North Carolina today and Wilmington is on our roster this week. Back to the wonders of the eastern states. the lore in some places just seems a little dark sometimes.
