    The Colorado Avalanche moved closer to advancing with a 4–2 Game 3 victory over the Los Angeles Kings, powered by a strong performance from Artturi Lehkonen, who recorded a goal and an assist, while Gabriel Landeskog, Cale Makar, and Brock Nelson also found the back of the net. Scott Wedgewood stood solid in goal with 24 saves. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Sabres took control of their series with a 3–1 win over the Boston Bruins, as Alex Tuch netted the decisive goal early in the third period and Alex Lyon impressed with 24 saves in his first start of the series. In other playoff action, the Carolina Hurricanes continued their dominance, pushing the Ottawa Senators to the brink of elimination with the victory!
