It became a poem after all. Follow-up to last episode.
This piece is an offering of my softness, textured, gritty, alive. It speaks of sinew and smoke, of laughter that erupts from the gut, of compassion that carries weight. It is suede, the inside of the animal, transformed into protection, into covering, into care.
Soft as suede. My gentleness is gritty.
