Mara Lee Gilbert holds a master's in forensic psychology and spent 12 years supporting teens and adults in lockdown facilities, including Kirby Forensic Psychiatric Hospital in New York City. It is a part of her story that runs surprisingly parallel to her work as a transformational guide and sacred spaceholder.
