As we transition from demons to angels we wanted to explore the reapers of Supernatural. Of course, we couldn't talk about reapers without talking about Billie too. We grabbed another great friend of the podcast to join us for this one and we hope you enjoy it!

REAPER COCKTAIL

Ingredients: 1.5 ounces of spiced dark rum, 1.5 ounces of blackberry liqueur, 0.5 ounces of lemon juice, and cola.

To Make: Pour the rum, liqueur, and lemon juice in a glass over ice. Top with cola and enjoy!

MOCKTAIL - Substitute the spiced dark rum for nonalcoholic rum or skip it. Substitute the blackberry liqueur for blackberry syrup. Everything else is the same.

The time has come for the last but technically first angel, Michael. This character was played by several actors so we had to bring in help to talk about all of them. Thanks to our guests on this episode and to everyone who shares and cares about S&S.

RUSSIAN BLUE MOON COCKTAIL

Ingredients: 1 ounce of vodka, 1 ounce of Kahlua, .5 ounces Blue Curacao, 1 ounce of Heavy Cream

To make: add ice to a glass then add the vodka and Kahlua. Carefully pour in the Blue Curacao (Dawn poured it slowly over a spoon) so it doesn't mix with the other liquids. Then slowly add the heavy cream and watch the swirl action. You can stir or leave unmixed.

MOCKTAIL - we were idiots in this episode and forgot that Blue Curacao syrup exists so ... Substitute the Kahlua for coffee and skip the vodka. Create in the same fashion as the cocktail. Ta da!

Mix up a Blood Orange Margarita, grab a few good friends, and buckle up for this one, folks. --- Fifty episodes is a pretty big milestone. Ingredients: 2 ounces tequila, 2 ounces blood orange juice, 1 ounce fresh lime juice, 0.5-1 ounce simple syrup, and optional dash of cayenne pepper. Tajin for rimming the glass.

To Make: Add everything to a shaker with ice and shake well. Rim your glass with tajin seasoning then pour the mix into your glass. Ta da!

MOCKTAIL: Omit the tequila or use a non-alcoholic substitute.

As we round out the angels, this episode is about Gabriel and Raphael who are the younger of the Archangels on Supernatural. With another friend of the show, we talk about the impact that Gabe & Raph had and whether or not sibling dynamics apply to angels. Mix up a drink and enjoy another one, folks!

HOLY TRICKSTER RECIPE - this time we did a mocktail as our drink. Feel free to add your own twist, alcoholic or otherwise.

INGREDIENTS:

0.75 ounces lime juice, 0.75 ounces simple syrup, 8-10 mint leaves, 0.5 cup strawberries (diced), and 2 ounces of ginger ale.

To make it... Combine all ingredients except ginger ale in a shaker and give a hard shake for 20 seconds. Double strain into an ice filled glass. Top with ginger ale.

PLOT TWIST RECIPE:

Ingredients - 2 ounces Indigo Gin (like Empress Indigo), 1/2 ounce simple syrup, 1/2 ounce lemon juice, and club soda or ginger ale.

To make - Add Indigo gin and simple syrup to your glass. Pour in the lemon juice and watch the magic. Top with club soda or ginger ale.

MOCKTAIL: Substitute the Indigo gin for Butterfly Pea Flower tea. You can get butterfly pea flowers to brew the tea from a small business like the Ohio Tea Co. Follow the same instructions as the cocktail.

We're moving up a little bit and being a little more classy like Balthazar and Sister Jo. Okay, we're not, but there's a fancy cocktail and a new guest, Letitia! Pour yourself a bubbly Punch Romaine and enjoy a little chit-chat in this special 5th week episode.

PUNCH ROMAINE - said to be the last cocktail served on the Titanic (IYKYK)

Ingredients: 1 ounce light rum, 1 egg white, 1 ounce orange juice, 0.5 ounce lemon juice, 0.5 ounce simple syrup, 2 ounces champagne (or prosecco.

To make: Add all ingredients except ice and champagne to your shaker. Dry shake for about 15 seconds. Add ice then shake again. Strain into a glass filled with shaved ice (we used cubed ice) then top with champagne/prosecco.

MOCKTAIL - Skip the rum. Substitute prosecco for sparkling white grape juice. Follow the same instructions.

Yep, we're still talking about angels! Bartholomew and Ishim, two fallen angels who fell for different reasons, are the topic of this episode. We also have special guests, Liz & Jarrett, adding their two cents. Mix up your own "Fallen Angel" and tune in for another wild episode!

FALLEN ANGEL COCKTAIL

2 ounces gin (we used Aviation), 1 ounce lemon juice, 2 teaspoons creme de menthe, 2 teaspoons simple syrup, 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.

Instructions: Muddle mint leaves in a glass then add ice. In a shaker, add everything else with ice and shake. Then pour into your glass and enjoy.
