    FEMME FATALE

A song I wrote for an ex girlfriend first in acapella then with instrumental accompaniment, it's about the sirens swan song that you hear just before your love boat runs aground and you scent the sulphur this being the final pheromone you smell as you slowly begin to drowned

  • FLASH BACKS
    Jan 1 2026

A song I wrote about friends of mine who tried a little too many thrills pills and spills; they now have rather a dislocated dendritic projector playing in their brain which keeps having flash backs giving them a dislocated dialogue that's on repeat or replay .I always try in my life and work to keep a little rhythm rhyme and reason after being sideways from sobriety for so many years; still it's a little eerie to be listening to their loop the loop reels of rhetoric which suddenly stop then start over again.

  • THE RIVER
    Dec 8 2025

This is a song I wrote about a crazy preacher man I lived with for ten years , he's a fire and brimstone man of god from Glasgow who studied at Scots college Rome , The Vatican. The firebrand once Babtised me in an ice cold glacial river in the high Alpine maritime of France , stating "I'll wash the Fxxxxxx sin from your worthless soul; looking back from the deep water at his husky dog blue eyes and the clear blue sky I thought I was going to die !!.

After he'd given me his devine water boarding in the freezing fjord I certainly felt cleansed of conscience and less conceited.

    Dec 8 2025

This is a song I wrote for a hard drinking Marlborough man called Simon, who got pretty busted up when he fell in love with a girl back in the seventies. I know how he feels! Back then Pride didn’t exist, but she was called Gaydar , a very unusual name so I suppose he should have seen the red/pride flags, but then so should I.

He still misses her, and those wild days driving across Africa, living under canvas. They had the wildest times — and so did I !!!!.

    THE JAZZ MAN

This is a little jazz piece I wrote inspired by a friend of mine whose sir name is "Wright" hence why i based the lyrics around that rhyming similie , come pun . I had the privilege of studying Jazz under the guiding tutelage of a brilliant Jazz-man maestro named Mr Bentley who had a music room with the model D black Steinway turned to perfection which I can only be held responsible for knocking it back out of tune as a young clumsy muso ; He did once tell me that in his younger days his apprentice working as a gas fitter was the legendary Joe Cocker himself that takes some beating the Woodstock Wizard himself.

This is a song I wrote for the only woman I do desperately wanted to marry, but then you know what desperate men get , that's right they get crushed and damned ; we destroyed each other through drink jealousy and mutual madness, I never recovered and neither did she , love so dangerous in foolish young hands.
