Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.
On this episode of Warp 10, Scott and Brian discuss TOS S01 E05 - The Enemy Within or Two Kirks are Worser than One.
***Warning*** This episode discusses sexual assault. Scott and I do our best to talk about this in a delicate manner, but given everything going on in the world today - specifically in regards to the disgusting cowards known as the Cornell 7, if you would rather not listen to this episode we understand and support that.
What Yeoman Rand goes through in this episode and what Jane Doe endured at the Chi Phi frat house, and what every victim of sexual assault has to live with for the rest of their lives is horrendous. Change has to start with being able to discuss this topic and men need to stand up and be a voice for the women who have suffered.
We applaud Jane Doe for her bravery and her unwillingness to be silenced. The future should be one in which women can feel safe, but that future won't become a reality until men stand up and get angry and hold those cowards accountable.
