About this listen

As a Domestic Abuse Advocate and Survivor, my mission is to create a safe, supportive space for anyone affected by abuse, whether you are currently experiencing it, are a survivor, or know someone who has been impacted. On TalksWMiah, we will have open and honest conversations about Domestic Abuse and Violence, recognizing the signs, understanding Narcissistic Personality Disorder and the traits of Narcissists, and exploring where to find help and support. This platform is not only about raising awareness, but also about sharing stories, our own and those of others, because every voice matters. Together, we can shine a light on domestic abuse, break the silence, and work toward healing and empowerment. I have also written a book, now available on Amazon, that dives deeper into my journey and offers guidance and encouragement for those seeking hope and healing. New episodes of TalksWMiah are released every Monday and can be streamed on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. So, let’s connect, let’s support one another, and let’s raise awareness.Miah Campbell Economics Leadership Management & Leadership

  • Dating after Abuse - Learning You Are Still Worthy Of Love.
    Jan 20 2026

Dating after Abuse can feel overwhelming, confusing, and even unsafe. In this episode of talkswithmiah, I explore the emotional impact Abuse has on self-worth, relationships, and the ability to trust again.

I discuss the tactics abusers use, such as love bombing, manipulation, emotional conditioning, and control, and how these experiences can leave survivors feeling unworthy of love long after the relationship ends. This episode sheds light on why survivors may struggle with intimacy, fear vulnerability, or feel drawn to familiarity rather than peace.

Most importantly, this conversation offers reassurance and support to anyone who feels discouraged, broken, or undeserving of healthy love. Healing doesn’t follow a set path, but it is possible, and you are still worthy of love, safety, and consistency.

This episode is created to spread awareness, encourage healing, and remind victims and survivors that they are not alone.

  • Why do Abuser's Abuse?
    Nov 5 2025

In this episode, we dive deep into the question many survivors ask: Why do Abusers Abuse? We explore the root causes behind abusive behaviour, from control, insecurity, and learned patterns, to emotional immaturity and deep-seated psychological issues. This episode sheds light on the mindset of abusers, the tactics they use to maintain power, and how manipulation becomes their weapon of choice. Understanding the “why” doesn’t excuse their actions, it empowers survivors to recognise the red flags, break free from the cycle, and begin to heal.

  • Therapy, Faith, and Healing - Finding What Works For You.
    Oct 11 2025

In this week’s episode, I’m talking about therapy, faith, and healing, and how to find what truly works best for you. Your journey is personal, and healing starts when you give yourself permission to grow.

I open up about the importance of allowing yourself to heal in your own time, without pressure or comparison. For some, healing comes through prayer and faith; for others, it’s through therapy, reflection, or simply learning to feel safe again. There’s no right or wrong way, what matters is that you keep showing up for yourself.

Together, we’ll explore how faith and therapy can work hand in hand, how to release shame, and how to embrace the process of becoming whole again.

If you’re on a journey of rebuilding your peace, this episode is your reminder that you’re not alone. Healing is possible, and it starts with you.
