The Everton game was so hard to muster any positives or talking points from that we instead centred the bulk of the conversation centred on the value of the League Cup, the existential crisis of West Ham's womens team and how do we attract more people to games?

But we did bookend that debate by trying to talk about the borefest that was West Ham 0-1 Everton and predicting what might happen at Spurs and Manchester United in our 2 upcoming away trips.

Well, nobody here saw this coming but London City Lionesses were tamed by a resilient and solid West Ham team. Mia, Lesley and Big Dave are full of praise and optimism after a much improved and spirited performance.

West Ham have finally hit the form we expected them to have at the start of the season and look unstoppable as Wrexham and Bolton become the latest victims. 9 goals scored in 3 days and all is right with the world again. Fulham in the league cup awaits before our next meaningful game on Saturday.
