Can the Orlando Magic take the next step—and what needs to change if they don’t?

Philip Rossman-Reich of Locked On Magic and Orlando Magic Daily joins Ravneet Singh to preview Orlando’s season. We discuss the importance of health, the shooting around Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, Nikola Vučević’s role, and whether Anthony Black is ready for a bigger opportunity.

We also debate potential trades involving Immanuel Quickley, Dereck Lively II, Myles Turner and Naz Reid—and why Orlando’s payroll makes those decisions complicated.

Which trade would you make, and what would count as a successful season for the Magic? Let us know in the comments.

John Karalis of Locked On Celtics and Celtics On SI joins me to preview the 2026-27 Boston Celtics.

We discuss whether Boston can still contend after trading Jaylen Brown, how Paul George and Mitchell Robinson fit alongside Jayson Tatum, the starting and closing lineups, which young players could break out, and where the Celtics rank in a much stronger Eastern Conference.

John also explains why the Celtics could actually be better during the regular season, whether they rely too heavily on three-pointers and why he still trusts Brad Stevens’ long-term plan.

Ryan Blake joins me to talk about the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament and how it became one of basketball’s best places to find overlooked NBA talent.

We get into the stories of Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Derrick White, Alex Caruso and Dorian Finney-Smith, what scouts look for beyond the numbers, and why some players get missed. Ryan also talks about growing up around the PIT, learning from his father, and working with the NBA and G League.
