  • The Bloody Benders
    May 30 2025

It's 1870s Kansas. Travelers are disappearing on the Osage Trail. Suspicion lands on the Bender family. Their one-room cabin served as their home, store, and inn. They lured their victims, usually solo travelers, by giving the a place to eat and rest their heads. Instead of recharging, their bodies were dragged through a trap door to a cellar to later be buried in shallow graves in the apple orchard.

What happened to "The Bloody Benders?" Were they killed? Did they reinvent themselves? Let's take a dive into their crimes and who they were.

  • Shadows of the Highway: Dr No, the Ohio Prostitute Killer
    May 22 2025

It was any day. Marcia King woke up and went about her day not knowing that it was going to be her last. Marcia, a prostitute, made her way to a truck stop where she would converse with truckers via CB or face-to-face to exchange sexual favors for rides or cash. Unfortunately, she came into contact with the wrong trucker. That trucker was Dr. No, as he called himself on the CB. Dr. No isolated her, took her to a rural location, assaulted her, and then murdered her. He left her body in an area near a major highway.

Dr. No repeated this act in that sequence in the murders of eight more women. It's suspected that the body count could be up to 12.

Who was Dr. No? How did he elude the authorities? Some answers we won't ever know, but here is the account of the Ohio Prostitute Killer known as Dr. No.

There were two suspects in this case and we are going to exam them and everything that transpired.

Other oddities were found as well, such as mannequins posed around his swimming pool like they were having a party. He was certainly an interesting character.
