Philip shares his first-hand experiences in Indonesia raising and rehabilitating orphaned sun bear cubs such as Bubu, Shannon and Yogi (he insists that he didn’t name them!). Philip talks about the joys of watching the sun bear cubs learn to be bears but also discusses the challenges and emotional moments this can bring. He also covers diverse topics including a crash course on Indonesia and sun bears, and exploring the complex question of whether returning an orphaned cub to the rainforest is always the right choice.
